The only good that has come from the lack of gals out on the track is the PIMPS are fue and far between.Who knows how many of them have also fallen on hard times.
At least the gals are free from most of the nightime wannabe dickheads taking there money after they exit a ride. From Maine to Miami the pimps are unable to peddle there gals like before so this forces them go farther underground. After all why should some guy live like a king and beat down a gal in the street for not producing the right amount of jack?
Flashy wheels, gold, rocks, dust, the tracks are not like 2-3 years back.It is much nicer to see that 1-2 gals looking for a p/u than the mopes riding in circles keeping there stables in tune.
It is a known fact, that any gal out on a track that has a P.I. is not allowed to LOOK,TALK or anything to another PIMP.If she even looks at another pimp he has the right to stop and "BREAK" her. This means he can take her money and she can do nothing about it.Yes,manhandle her and take her cash even for looking his way! That is a rule of the street between pimps and gals.Nice to see less 20-plus inch wheels rounding the corners on every city block.
Sure the coke and other stuff is still plentyful everywhere but at least the average wannabe street hood can't get free cash from a gal on every corner.
B.B...
Bill 85% of the girls are run by a pimp or a suit case pimp.
Personally I'm not a big fan of pimps but when they were out and about there were a lot of girls (and some good looking) on the street.
Most of the girls on CL's would be/are street walkers if the Boston scene was still alive. And they are still being run by pimps on CL.

B.B...
Ah yes, the dreaded "reckless eyeballing". Don't forget pimps on the sidewalk, ho's in the street too. Need to keep your ***** in pocket.
Most of the girls I run into these days have no idea what any of those phrases mean. Things have really changed in just a few years.
Things are much better without the pimps. Oh, they are still out there in some areas. But in my experience many of the girls out these days are what they used to call "renegades", ie they don't have a pimp.

Outside of CT in my experience 95% of the girls do not have a pimp. Many may have a BF who likes to act like a pimp, but generally he's just another addict getting someone to support him because he can't support himself. Not at all like what an actual pimp is.
As for the girls on CL, I'd say that's a higher percentage. But a large number of them do not have pimps either. I'd say about 60% are independent.

I'd say about 75% minimum of the SW either called/got called by a pimp when I was with them, or made some reference to "their man" etc

I'd say about 75% minimum of the SW either called/got called by a pimp when I was with them, or made some reference to "their man" etc
How do you know it was their pimp? I've become friends with many girls in my time, and have also worked as a driver for escort services and independent girls. Just because they call someone, or someone calls them certainly does not mean it's their pimp. Most likely it was a drug dealer or a boyfriend (who is most likely also an addict), or just a friend. Back when I used to drive for girls I'm sure many clients probably thought I was their pimp. But the reality of the situation was that I was working for the girl, not the other way around. I drove for 14 girls over the years, not one of them had a pimp. Five of them had boyfriend's, one of which never even knew she was working. All of them I had met either on the street on a slow night, or through one of the girls I met on the street.
Some of them want you to think they have a pimp so they have an excuse to rush you. I've talked to many girls who'll use that so they can get back to their dealer and spend your money. They'll have a friend call them a certain time after they get picked up and pretend it's their pimp.
Outside of Boston, pimps are a rarity. Though there are lots of boyfriends who act like pimps.
Ho, by outside of Boston I presume you mean suburbs? I'll defer to what sounds like a greater basis of experience (yours), although it does not jive with mine, other than that there are more freelancers or 'renegades' where there are no predictable strolls. But there pimps in every part of the state, including Brockton I am willing to bet. Most of the CL ads on the South Shore are from pimps (with notable and usually obvious exceptions.)
My experience has been the vast majority of 'real' SWs and most call girls have a pimp. It may not be a guy in a purple Cadillac and matching velvet fedora, but somewhere there is someone taking her money and looking to take more of yours.
The crack hos don't and the there are some decent freelancers, but if you see a good looking young SW, dressed like she means business, she was put there by a pimp. If you see a decent older SW w/o a pimp, she is going to be hounded until she hooks up with a pimp.
I generally hate pimps and have been disgusted by its adoption as a positive adjective -- "pimp my..." whatever. Between dressing pre-teen girls like wh*ores and the glorification of pimps, it makes me sick. Yet I have to admit Cruiser D has a point.
When there is economic incentive in it, real pimps (not the wannabes) can bring in girls from all of the Northeast -- even all over the country. I picked up a SW in Orange County, CA this summer and she talked about her time in Boston in the 90s and even getting busted here. She wasn't a run-away but she was brought here by a pimp, and put back out on the street in the OC by a pimp.
I would also offer this word of caution to anyone reading this board without commensurate experience with Ho Hunter -- girls of all stripes use the damsel in distress routine to engender sympathy and get more $$. Chances are she has a pimp, and the last thing you want to do is get between her and him.
Over the years I have met countless guys who thought he was helping some chick go independent, when all the time he was been played by her pimp. And while I have never heard of a guy actually trying to "rescue" a girl, that would be a real disaster. It makes for great movie material, but how cool De Niro looked in Taxi Driver, you don't want that to be you.
Ho Hunter, I have to presume you worked for a high caliber of provider than you typically find on CL or the streets of Brockton? Were you providing security or just driving?
Ho Hunter, I have to presume you worked for a high caliber of provider than you typically find on CL or the streets of Brockton? Were you providing security or just driving?
The caliber of providers varied, a few did work the street as well, some had started out on the street and then saw ads for services in the Phoenix, others had never worked the street at all and never would. This was all pre-CL of course, 1992-2005. There was even a point for a couple years when I worked for one agency that I was driving a limo and would have 2-3 girls with me on any given night (did a call once where I brought 6 girls for one guy). I provided driving and security, though to be honest I was only needed for security 3 times in that period. These days I've pretty much retired from driving, got to be too much of a headache. Now I just take pics for ads, and on rare occasion I'll drive for a night for someone I already know.
Yes, by "outside of Boston" I was referring to the suburbs. My experience in other states is non-existent. Other than a couple failed attempts in Providence.
As for the girls and pimps thing. I suppose it really comes down to how you define what a pimp is. If you want to say that a guy with one girl that he's in a relationship with is a pimp. Then yes, most of the SW's have a pimp.
But to me, that's just a boyfriend. Maybe I boyfriend who thinks or acts like a pimp. But not what I would consider a pimp to be.
All you guys and galls here have a safe NEW YEAR'S EVE.

Ho, your experience generally doesn't jive with reality - you can take that for what it's worth. What you are saying could maybe possibly be true but it's a very small percentage on the fringe of the sex trade. I am extremely well versed in the sex trade world wide and was a de facto expert of the Boston SW scene from 97-05. 90% of the time there is a man behind the girl you are dealing with. That's just the way it is.
A boyfriend (or husband) who is living off the earnings of his girl is termed a suitcase pimp.
Web, I've never rescued a girl so to say. But I've put many a SW on the Bus - how cliche, they never fly or take the train, it was always the bus. :)

That's just not what I think of when I think pimp. I think of someone who takes all their money, and in turn supports them. Not someone who the girl chooses to spend a portion of her money supporting. By that definition, I was a pimp back when I was driving girls. But I stand firm in my opinion that the majority of SW's in the suburbs do not have a real pimp.
As for the rescuing a girl. I did it once, lasted for about 6 years and then she ran off and found a new one. Then she left him on her own 6 months later. I often wonder if it was just a huge waste of time, effort, and money. But in the end I guess she learned something from it, since she has now been clean for 2 years and has a real job. Hopefully I learned something from the experience as well...
Ho, a pimp is some who takes all the girls money and pretends to support them. Whether this is Mac Daddy the pimp, Joe the husband or Mike the boyfriend. I always find it funny (funny sad and funny ha ha) when the girl figures out she's never getting anywhere with him. She finally leaves and after making a few hundred thousand (depending) all she has is the clothes on her back and maybe a small case or trash bag full of things.
One of the many reason why I think you have a lot less real life experience then you pretend is the odd way you have of looking at things through rose colored glasses. A girl doesn't give a portion of her earnings to her husband of bf. He takes it all, just like a real pimp would. Then it's crack time, gambling time or whatever.
You either make a lot of crap up - or embellish quite a bit. Or you are extremely naive. Consider the user name you picked I’m thinking fantasy with a little reality is your game.
Hey CD,
Why don't you add a post or two with some substance rather than play the analize game and critisise others. When was the last time you posted a pic? Your a hypocrite and a dick.
Sincerley,
Oliver

I know the difference between a BF and a pimp. I've known many girls very well, been considered close friends with them. I've met their BF's and their families. I've had girls invite me to Thanksgiving dinner, bring me home to meet their parents for Christmas, taken me to family birthday parties, and far more. I've taken girls to detoxes and hospitals, and gone to girls' funerals. When some trick has beaten them or raped them, I'm the one they call to pick them up and make them feel safe. I've gone to visit them in jail, and I've bailed them out. I've taken girls to my house and left them there alone, and not one of them has ever stolen from me. They don't ask me for money, unless I ask for something from them. Even then they ask me for far less than they would from anyone else. Because they see me as a true friend. Can you say the same? I know what the real deal is, not what society wants you to believe. I'm not saying that there aren't guys like what you describe. But in my experience, it's certainly not the majority.
Believe what you want. Continue to live in your black and white world if you choose. But know that the real world has no black and white, it's all varying shades of gray.
