It's rare for the escorts [i]I've[/i] seen (i.e., I've never had it happen to me yet (knock on wood)), but I tend to go for ladies with multiple good reviews on boards I trust (A*S*P*D (RIP) before the crash, eRAPS, ECCIE, etc.). My hobby dollars are too few, and my time too constricted, to take the risk on ladies who don't have a good rep.

Agreed. This is an area where (IMHO) research does wonders. Unfortunately, doing the kind of comprehensive research that avoids such problems is pretty much impossible in a "dammit, I've got an itch that needs scratching [i][b]NOW![/b][/i]" situation, which a lot of guys find themselves in.

LONG TIME going to Las Vegas, I have advised against using the trash paper/street flyer advertisements for escorts in Vegas.
