Showed me the kitchen and the potential it had. There's also a room that she was going to turn into a private dining room for 20 peeps, once the kitchen got renovated.

There are only certain girls I trust, in places with bartenders (local Guys) I trust, that I have ever used plastic. Rooms are a thing of the past for me, but I knew Lina would be the real deal and not ROB me. Like many members have said, 'Just AMP already'.
I don't know what the issue was, but years ago I saw a local bartender ask the customer, "You trust da bahtenda?", before actually doing whatever it was he was going to do. He wasn't joking; probably was going to make a special drink like nightclub bartenders make. Especially in today's bars, like D'Amour, I think this is an important concept.

She pockets all the cash and gives her bartender friend a cut. That partner followers her every where. Later when the prior owner changes the lock and kicks her out she tries to threatens to sue and calls the LC and LE to file a complaint to harrass them She has a old fut sugar daddy and tries to get a new BF at each new bar she opens. Suckers spend all their money what a laugh dumb fu___s. LOL

I went in one night and there were no girls, just a few 50-somethings at a table but I'm not sure if they were employees or visiting friends, and a couple waiters. The staff seemed pretty friendly, though.
It looked nicely renovated but I don't know if it was like that from Empire days.
If only they had hostesses to draw guys in.
Btw I agree with Uki below. I think ms's should train about hostess safety though, and not just how to rip guys off. As with the Club Secret incident, it's only a matter of time before they perturb the wrong guy; some well-connected guy.
I guess what I mean by "cool" is that Yujin never pressures me to buy her drinks when I go to D'Amour. Several occasions I went to D'Amour with a friend because he wanted to visit Eri. When I see Yujin I told her that I just wanted to drink beer and did not want company so she said okay and left and wasn't sour about it. Spent to the whole night just drinking beers by myself and not getting bothered (while my friend wasted $$ on Eri, haha) Yujin would smile and even rub my hair anytime I passed her when going to the bathroom. I think the most I bought her in a given night was three on my own accord, she even catches my beer sometimes.
I forgot to mention the next time I went to D'Amour (after that incidient with buying Lina a drink) , Yujin came up to me with a nice attitude and told me she was "cool" and that she wouldn't bother me if I wanted to buy another girl drinks.
I was reading on several posts that Maya's was a good spot to go to. We went there twice and both times we didn't have a good experience. I'm not sure if it's the way we look but we got this "WTF are you doing here" stare from a lot of the KBG, BTW we're in our late 20's-early 30's and wear shorts, slipper, and regular tshirts. We don't have problems at other bars. So we walk in and nobody greets us. So were kinda standing there like monkeys looking for a table. We finally just sit down and then maybe 5 mintues later a hostess finally asks us if we want beer and even have our I'd's checked. A bunch of KBG pass us but none come up to us to ask if want company. Our server doesn't ask us either. After two beers we leave and go somewhere else.

In a clear voice with practically no accent, she said she doesn't speak English. I guess there's a first time for everything, especially with today's crop.
Speaking of first times, I went into D'Amour and Yujin was on me like like a magnet. I told her I had to go bathroom, but she followed me all the way in to the stall. Her eyes looked wild. I thought I was going to get a BJ (not that I was in the mood as she looked insane) but no; then she staggered out. She was flying-drunk but of course denied it. Man what a nutcase. She was bouncing off the walls.
Then I was in Pharaoh and bought this hottie from LA a drink, because she reminded me so much of the smokin' Ruby from S Lounge except older with a rough complexion covered with Bondo. Almost the same import car show girl body and long legs. But alas, I wasn't drinking alcohol (she had a problem with that) and she didn't want to drink alone, and left on that basis. She didn't want or need my money and preferred to go back to doing nothing. I don't know what planet she's from. Whatevers.
I just hope widgets masquerading as hostesses are not the wave of the future.

There is lot of talk about D'amour Julie lately. Does she play? Have never really tried anything with her as she is not my cup of tea. She's not ugly or anything but just not all that. I will agree that she can be fun as in she will sing and dance all night. I have seen her get pretty drunk but that is rare. Was a bit surprised to see he lip locked with a customer recently. Seriously I think she had her tongue far enough down his throat to remove his spleen.
I had the same experience as you, multiple times. From what I saw at Maya's it seems geared more towards an older (read: 'wealthier') crowd. Sure, there are some hot girls working, but something tells me they have to target the big fish and let the younguns like us flap in the wind. On the positive side, try sit at the bar. The two older K-Bartenders are really friendly and chatty. I had a good time cruising with them before going to the next place.

Anybody know if coco (sp?) still works at camelot? The last time I went there I didn't see her. I seen her one time at Evergreen. My friend keeps on talking about her so I figured I ask here if anybody here knows where she works now. Fairly young girl in her mid 20's, hapa girl. Maybe part korean or japanese? She has a large tat on her back and has wavy hair. She also likes to fake a broken english accent but speaks fluent english / pidgin. BTW, she was my friend's ex-gf in high school so we know she faking all that accent stuff. Also she likes to do the fake drunk walk too. Not to sure why but one word of advice, it's a turn off. She's hot so she doesn't need to be faking things.

The girls were probably busy with customers they know will spend mean kala. If there were girls in the first booth as you walk in (on the right) and they still didn't make a move then screw them, I would have left too.
Speaking of Maya's, it seems a few girls have left. I guess they are making the 90 day pilgrimage back to the mother land. At the same time she picked up one or two while I was gone. Met Yujin (?) very briefly. Seems nice and is decent looking. Does anyone have an intel report on her yet? Ah, well I guess I will head there tonight and lay the foundation.
