If SA implements the new system by putting a symbol next to profiles indicating they've been video verified, and allows one to filter out the non-verified ones, the system could still be workable for the people who decide to not verify, it'll just be more difficult getting noticed if people would rather not be contacted / favorited / viewed by people who aren't verified.

We know these sites have their own fake accounts / bots so they're probably just trying to corner the fake account market rather than trying to make the site better for customers.
