I wholeheartedly agree, a lot of frivolous spending, slowing or dropping is a leading indicator. The handful of people still buying new cars at double mrsp or bidding over asking on a home are going to be so under water by the end of the year it's not even funny. Between credit card rates and monthly payment increases on those, gas, electricity and food and this current quarters 401 k statements people are going to wake up and freak out. No more door dash, no more weekend getaways, less everything.
For perspective income levels I'm assuming based on occupations and house value. Wealthy clients seem to have 3 to 10 mm net worth with at least 2 mm increase since 2018. The lower middle clients make 65 to 80 k a year. I could be off on what's really middle, upper class income but that's my soft definition. Lastly all we need is this quarters GDP to be neg to be in a recession. Sometimes they're minor. This is going to be a deep and bad one. Keep an eye out for a lot more layoffs.

(Like gas). When the price goes up, demand only comes down a little. Therefore if there are ten dancers, and one guy, he is still likely to pay the same price. Extras are a necessity good.
Demand may be inelastic, but the guy's ability to pay $200 for it will go down in a bad economy. What goes first? A $12 pack of cigarettes or a $250 trip to the strip club? Porn is still free.

Dancers love customers who don't last long; pricing is same for most dancers regardless of how quickly someone shoots. If there is age discrimination, it is more likely toward younger patrons, as they can be more demanding, often bargain-hunting, trying to get freebies OTC, being more obnoxious. Over the years, many dancers have told me that they dislike younger customers, especially in groups, and especially on weekends. They don't buy as many dances or privates, and waste their time.
So in regard to your septugenarian pal, he is not asking the right questions, or maybe he is too cheap, who knows. Certain customers attract more attention than others. They generally present as being willing to part with cash, look good or at least presentable, know how to make eye contact, chat, or tip a waitress to get a dancer over.

Really sorry for this late report but about two weeks ago I was on my normal rounds of the clubs in the area and ended up stopping at Landing Strip. My very first trip out I overpaid by way too much and ended up with River for 400 FS. Provided a good session and I didn't have any issues probably because she already got me at a high price. It was dumb shit as always with me since I am a newcomer to the actually attractive girl negotiation. Please forgive me gods of the forum for overpaying in your fine cities.
