Korean Bar Reports

I also saw a fellow poster there first sit at the bar then get moved by Sandra (bartender that used to work in Kalihi at 4 seasons) to drink with a new BG in booth then mama pulled BG from booth to sit with others and to use that booth for regulars that knew mama.

I don't know about Yuka. To me, she is nice and slim, and that's about it. Her looks would garner her a 4 or 5, but her crooked teeth and 70's hairstyle just kill it for me.

Nothing much to report on the KB front as the bars have been slow. However, scuttlebutt is there will be change in management / ownership at 74 and Splash come November.

Made the rounds in town for about a couple of hours last evening with a couple of friends. Started at Twilight which was dead slow. Maybe about 5 people total in the entire bar, no girls of significance to report. Moved on to EG which was normal busy, typical before 2 am type crowd. Talked story a bit with mama before moving on to 74. I have been hearing from everywhere that they are due for a management change so my intriguing mind wanted to know. Mama claims vehemently that there will be no change, but haven't we all heard that before? LOL. Ended the night at Splash which was relatively busy in comparison to the rest. Bar was full, with about a third of the guys being Korean nationals. I swear, that place attracts the largest amount of Korean men as customers. Same old man (he must be about 80+) sitting at right end of the bar, the one who always frequents there on Wednesday's. Decent amount of karaoke singing going but the floor was just so so busy. Lulu's bar was about 75% full. No new eye candy or anyone spectacular. Good for my buddies, save money for them.

We have this thing about watching the girls come up to the well for their neko's and that's how we sort of figure out how busy they are as well as the bar in general. Well last night, all the bars were not too jumping. Bar backs and bartenders were cruising looking pretty bored at times. At least at the times that we were there.

Drove by 4 Seasons. The lights were on and the doors open but only one car outside. Didn't go in but would guess that as previously reported that they might be trying to do a non-alcoholic thing.

904 at 7 pm was fairly busy. Lot's of new girls (new to 904). Saw at least 2 transfers from 4 seasons.

Splash at 8:30-9 pm was not busy at all. Mama Jun was a little bit tipsy making the rounds buying most regular customers drinks. She was celebrating the load temporarily off her back. She has leased to Ellie for 6 months effective Nov 6th.

EG was rolling it's the most Neko's I saw in a night Mama was super happy. Master and Chibi I told you guys I was going be out but you guys never miss nothing.

I didn't go out Friday due to all the traffic and other stuff going around. Did a pre Halloween and after Halloween run around some town bars. On Thurs checked out 74, Casino, International, XO, and Splash. 3 were pretty busy at Casino sat in booth with a friend who was sitting with Yura the bar had a couple open seats and most of the booths were filled. Then went over to 74 the bar was pretty busy and some of the booths were occupied. While on Kapiolani went over to XO which the bar was packed but the booths were empty. After XO went over to International and sat at the bar had a table full with BGs watching as customers walked in. It was the slowest out of the 3 but still was busier then Splash which was pretty dead by the time we got there which was before 1 am. At Splash both side bars were pretty empty and even the booths were empty in fact didn't really see much BGs.

Sat night started off in Kalihi and went to Cozy first which had bday party going for a former bartender so that filled up most of the booths but the bar was also full with a couple of open seats. Had a couple drinks there then made the trek into town starting off at 74 which was pretty busy. While my friends were drinking at 74 I went to Ellies to check it out and it was so-so busy but I didn't stay long and ended up back at 74 till last call. After last call went over to EG and it was packed then again it is a weekend.

Yujin came back fom her Korean vacation saw her Monday night, looks pretty as ever. She will be bartender Wed and Thurs night.

Went to see all the costumes KBGs wore and to my surprise most dressed up in town. The LVB. Army was out in full foirce as its a Friday and Halloween to boot. At Splash, Ashley had blonde hair but both Chinese bar, main bar and booths almost empty at midnight. Camelot same thing. Nicole at Back Alley had a school girl outfit. You can tell alot. About KBGs according to what kine costumes they wear. Sexy outfits get more chance for play. Schoolgirl outfit girls specialize in LVB customers for example. The rest of the town bars were pretty busy and EG was packed even early. It was just a research and sightseeing night for me. So was also neon.

Hey braddahs! I'm coming to visit in another week looking for some of my forum bros to drink with and laugh at LVB with. If anyone is down feel free to I'm me. Its been a while since I last visited the Island hopefully nothing has changed much.

I've known Sylvia since she entered the KB scene and in all my years of bar hopping, she is not only one of the tallest KBG's but one of the most playful. Her hand roaming starts after just one drink and her take out specials are readily available. I have only had fun at her place with her once, a couple of years ago, but more than a handful of friends have dined in her "restaurant" near 4 am recently and have reported back funny stories the next day. IMHO, you just got to be able to deal with her constant chatter and obnoxious personality. You also need catch a cab back from her place because she has no guest parking at her place in downtown. She has taken my buddies to her place after work recently and they all had to leave their cars at EG and return via cab the next morning.

My experiences with the fox have been a little different. I have seen her do her thing with customers and with my buddies as well. But none of us have been offered any take out, they've only gotten the lap dance sessions and hand jobs in the booths. She is not really my cup of tea but I do enjoy watching her work the floor like she does. She's a pro and is a true table hopping master IMHO. I have bought her one good luck drink in the past and for the most part I just watch her rip off my buddies every time we see her at a new bar she had just moved to. Like her table hopping, I guess she bar hops as well. Kinda like a bunny rabbit. Hippity hop, hippity hop, hippity hop. LOL.

Reporting a little late but I went out on Friday night. Started off at casino which was a little busy, just sat at the bar for a beer and left soon after. After that I found myself at international which was pretty busy, found an open spot at the bar and ordered a beer. Shortly after dragon found me and got to watch me be a sucker for the rest of the night. One of the girls there also found me and got a drink out of me. After that we went to splash for a little while which was really dead, probably because it was closing. Then we headed to EG after 2, eventually found spots on the bar but surprisingly wasn't that busy considering the day and time. Bought a couple more drinks and stayed till closing. Not much to report except that I had a good time and we were unable to find oldee. Maybe next time.

Bar was a bit busy so sat in a booth since it was a bit early Bora was still bartending before working on the floor. After 74 walked through Butterfly but didn't really see much the BG I recognized was Ashley. After that went to International where I saw Chibi at the bar. They had a couple decent BGs working the ones I remembered was Anne, Stacey, and Eva (2 of them used to work at Butts). After International went over to Splash didn't really have anyone there it was dead had one of the K-bartenders working at the Chinese bar since no one was at the kbar side. From Splash went to EG which had a small rush but nothing too crazy. Had a couple of BGs from the other bars but nothing really special to report. Went out last night stopped by 74, ellies, and EG. Heard that some changes will be happening well if just check out the back page of the sports section you can see that changes are being made. Ill be out tonight not sure where I'm going to start though.

MJ's repertoire has been evolving. Nowdays he sings lots of songs from the 60's /70's along with MJ. He is a great entertainer, but he isn't that great a singer.

But a bunch of us have hooked up with her in the past so it can't just be me. I've always found her to be strangely quiet after sex. Strange seeing her silent and not talking and swearing out loud. Just got home from a last minute late night Kalihi drinking session with the boys. Spent most of the night at Lilac talking with Tammy while she gets ready for her grand opening tomorrow. Seems like the same old recycled girls although she claims to have a few new girls starting tomorrow. We'll see what she means by new and also what she means by girls. LOL.

Heard through the KBG wireless that Mimi mama will be taking over 74. But remember could just be a rumor.

It was a good night for me (didn't spend as much) going out with the some of the brothers, it was good to meet the people behind the screen names. It was hard to modify my old habits but got some good pointers from the master and encouragement for the guys after getting scolded by Oldee. It was a slow night all around but wanted to meet the master and vice-a-versa. We started at 74 bought Mama a drink before Oldee came in (there will be a change in ownership but mama will stay, new girls coming on the 13th FYI), we did the intros and then headed out we hit: Ellies (looked in but slow), went next door Butterfly (was real slow), then Casino where Oldee introduced me to a Japanese hostess (didn't know they exist) had a drink with her got a massage and then she had a appointment come in for first time meeting her, made her late for her appointment. Casino was the busiest of the bars we went to. We then went to Twilight sat on the bar but nothing happening. We then went to International slow there also, then to Splash which had more guys than girls (Mondays are slow as Oldee said) then back to Butterfly sat on the bar and had a good talk about the old days. Clubs, discos, and the like e. G. : Kg's and Takebas, and La Mancha. Point After etc.

We then hooked up with two other brothers and headed to Casino stayed for one drink then off to 74 where we were crowded onto one table I hooked up with my favorite and then the fireworks started every time I bought her a drink. Well Oldee was trying to look out for me and I really appreciate it but bad habits are hard to break. I did learn how to tip as was really over tipping. The other things the master tried to impart will take some practice, but it was good to see the flip side of the coin. Real food for thought. As for my favorite she is my favorite and I know she totally out of my league as many people have told me and yes many people have also told me to cut it since she has someone but she does comfort me and lets me forget my troubles which is why I go to see her. She is intelligent, can carry a conversation with practically anyone, can sing, dance.

It was funny though as we were leaving my favorite said "why go to a Korean Bar if you not going to spend money" what you going say to that? (Oldee cool head!) thanks again for all the helpful hints and suggestions you gave me last night it's not to often you can go out on a one on one personal KB tour. I really appreciate the insight but as I mentioned I am a LVB! And thanks for worrying about me but my bar time frame is limited so I going enjoy as best I can I will try your new suggestion for Kalihi and follow up on the others. Eh! Late report but better late then never, headed out this past week and decided to throw some darts and drink a few, so went out on kapiolani and into casino, for 2 beers, then into butterfly, threw some darts while I noticed a nice and lovely waitress named Aly, first thing I noticed was the cute braces, and her cracked iPhone, as of right now it's no longer cracked, LOL, bought her a drink (Tea) she's only 20 and just started work here, along with her friend that works there as well, the only bad part of the night is that she beat us in darts.

He is in his 50's and yes has so expanded his repertoire.

No matter what he sings, I think he's the life of the party and he is very personable. Some mamas recognize he's good for business and have played tug-of-war for a while.

If Sylvia is who I think she is, I agree with Udakine. It would take DT to quiet her but I bet she's a Biter.

Cruised the Makaloa strip and nothing was going on. The bars were dead, short on girls or "sausage fests".

I didn't see any young hotties at Butterfly (dead).

The Amour ("sausage fest") had some pretty ones but they all were busy at tables with Korean men, in fact almost all of the tables were so populated; the locals were in the standing room only area because the bar was full too. It got my attention because the Korean men were hollering so loudly at each other across the table.

Met some k-MILF at Twilight (short on girls) but she utterly refused to go to a table. Apparently, her intent was to empty my wallet with minimal effort, so I spent minimal money and time there. Yujin mama was the hottest one there.

Butterfly mama is a nice lady, but I question her business mind set. Why would she turns her once popular place to hang out into some type of sports bar? Pool table, Dart board, and now she is hiring girl in her 20's with braces, also, there is a local and white bunny come in the second shift when they feel like it.

I usually go to Butterfly early before I head to other bars in the block. Sylvia, Jeanie and Leeann usually man the first shift, all three ladies are over 50's with steady boyfriend, so they are really not into play mode, don't let them fool you when they said they don't have a BF. Any of you want infos on them PM me.

Second shift from 9 PM used to have a lot of eye candy there, but they'd come and go I can't keep track of them, maybe some of them are 3 months visa type.

Bartender Mika is a sweet Japanese and Korean mix, tall and slim and very easy to talk to.

Food are really not that good anymore ever since the old kitchen mama retired. I ordered a steak the other day has no taste, maybe she thought I was on low sodium diet.

So the night started off a little different than usual for me. Met up with dragon at Green Tea, wasn't there for too long. Then we headed to Spotlite. Nice place, got to talk to eat a bit, talk to Candy mama and just enjoy the atmosphere in general. Thr bar itself was pretty slow, not too many people around but was still pretty fun. After this went into town and met up with Oldee and GettingOld at Butterfly. We headed over to Casino which was pretty busy as it usually is these days. Sat in a booth for some drinks and Oldee's lessons LOL. Then we headed over to 74 where GO got to see his hunny. Well after that we went to Evergreen for the after 2 crowd. Ran into Ninja there and we grabbed a booth since the bar was full. Just sat around, drank and watched the bargoers. Fun night, especially since I spent almost nothing LOL.
