Before I moved to Tampa about three years ago, I visited both Tampa and Orlando often on biz trips over the last 15-20 years, so I got to know both places very well.
So since I moved here, I have continued to drive up to Orlando from time to time for a bit of change of pace. I prefer to make the drive instead of other mongering spots like St Pete or NPR area, which are more hit and miss.
To be fair, OBT is a paradise compared to Nebraska, but has it's downsides. Traffic is horrendous, and if you see a hottie on the other side of the road, it can take you like 10 minutes to simply make a you-turn at the next light and get back to that spot. I have gone up there several times and it has been a total waste of time, nothing, nobody anywhere. Then the next trip, there are dozens all over. My personal preference is to hit the trail either in the mid afternoon before traffic builds, or very late at night. Warning though, if there late at night, the LE are very sneaky and hide ready to pounce. I have done car dates there, but don't suggest anyone do so unless you get to know some safe spots.
Tampa does not have much "churn" of SW's, girls coming into town and tricking. OBT has a consistent ebb and flow of new talent coming from all over.
And let me also state that C5 has been very helpful to me, always comes thru with either a contact number or how to find someone up there that looks interesting to me. I have made some trips up there specifically to see one girl, and he has always been helpful for me to hook up.
All her crap was on the couch anyway. Both are fun but with Carmen it's starting to become routine.

If you're in the left lane on OBT, and see something interesting on the other side of the street, you might get lucky, hit the next left turn light, and be able to make a you-turn in time. But if in the right lane (or even center), forget it. The problem with hugging the left lane is the same if you see something on your side of the street: getting over to the right lane can be just as much of a challenge, at least doing it in a way that doesn't attract attention. The biggest issue is if she's anything really worth checking out, you just aren't going to get there before someone else does.
