I anticipated a nice finish when she had me lay on my back and she took off the towel. But no luck. I gave a few hints but not too aggressive. Maybe I'll try one of the other girls there.

Overall, for the massage it was great. The wooden bath is small. I'm only 5'9" and felt crampt, so others may not even fit in at all.

Sorry for the long post, but this was my first and I wanted to make sure to provide usable information so you can make a more informed decision if you decide to go.

Its been a little while since I've been able to get away for a massage. Finally had the chance a couple weeks back and headed to O2. Ruby I think she said her name was was my attendant this time. Was wanting to hit up o2 again the other night but I was too

Late. When I got there they looked like they were closed up.

So I decided to roll the dice a try a new place (new for me) that was open past midnight. Rolled down Kennedy and whipped into Japanese Spa. I didn't get the providers name. She was slender average looking if I had to guess age maybe early 40's. I don't like to be critical unless the service is really bad which it wasn't. However I did find the massage rather lackluster. I realize for some this isn't a big deal, but I likes me a good massage. I left happy but unfortunately I think I left a little too early. Looks like she had left some time on the clock. When I got back to my car and checked the time I realized I couldn't have been in there for more than 45 minutes. Maybe a different provider there would yield better results?

BTW does anyone know how late o2 is open? Week days and weekends? The last time I was there I forgot to check. I tried calling a couple of times but no one ever picked up.

I now know I overpaid for the experience....but at least the quality of the extras was good. The massage was half-assed.....not much in terms of those skills.

This post is confusing to me.
You can't pull "around back" at Japanese Spa.
The girls are all late 40's, pushing 50.
And I doubt a 1st time customer got full service menu there as well.

I don't know what the name of the spa is....I don't remember. All I remember is that the sign said it was a "Japanese" spa......parking was in the rear and you had to enter through the front door. The last 4 digits of the phone number on the sign at the front was 3343. It was ironic because it said "Japanese" on the sign and a Korean RA was the one who serviced me.

re: 1st time customer getting f/s.....this isn't my 1st rodeo. When she asked "if I've been there before"...I of course answered "yes".....every experienced AMP hobbyist knows to say that. If you don't, then you're a fool. Getting f/s is easy if you know how to approach it.

I said it was $.50....where I'm from that means 150....remove the $ and only use .50 and that means 50....get it? That's how I've seen it done on other boards on USA, so it's not just Vegas. You can't park in back there.
There are no 30 year olds.
And the place is notorious for lousy service.

Sounds like from the service and the parking it was Seven Star Spa there's also a backdoor that they usually let you in unless they weren't paying attention, but the phone # does not match, it's about a block and a half from Jimbo's BBQ, Japanese Spa is right on the corner of that block along with Endless Summer but the back of that buiding backs into the Honda dealership, so you would have had to park in the front.

If you care enough to look it up, you can goto google maps and type in the 4000 block of W Kennedy and see the street. Either way thanks for posting!

I was in the Carrollwood area of Tampa today and needed to turn around on Erlich Rd near Dale Mabrey. There used to be an AMP in the back of a strip mall on the southwest corner of Erlich and Mabrey but was closed insofar as I know. However, when I drove into the area to turn around I had to go to the side the AMP used to be on and saw a sign at the same place with "Aurora Spa" over the door. It was the only store front with cars in front of it. Maybe three cars were there. I would have stopped to TOFTT but didn't have the time. I have been unable to find information online this afternoon and the phone number I found online has a "disconnected" message. Has anyone heard anything about this AMP opening back up? I suppose it's possible that the cars were for folks from a new business getting it changed over but the sign looked pretty good for the length of time I thought the place has been closed.

Last time I drove by that location, I too drove around back to see what was there. Place was empty, looked like it was in the process of being dismantled. This was over 1 year ago.

The only cars there were parked right in front of the place so that is what made me think something might be going on there. Also, the sign looked pretty clean. I may be wrong but the last time I drove through there, there was no sign over the door.
