Stopped into J's for lunch last week for the first time in a month or 2. It appears that they have blocked off the area where they use to do dances. There is no privacy and a couple of girls were complaining that they can't get away with much anymore. That's the bad news. The good news is that the decline in the number of dances seems to have made the girls much more receptive to giving out their numbers for OTC.

So I stopped in on Friday. Got the straight story. Lately the dances have been crazy fun (I can attest to that). Very few rules regarding touchy feely. The dance area was secluded & dark enough to be a lot of fun. It seems some of the girls took things a bit too far. After all, there are 2 cameras in that area. The dance area is now completely sectioned off with a board up type plywood wall. They are planning to put video slots there eventually. The dances are done by the pool table just outside the former dance area. You're out in the open in direct line of sight to the door guy & basically everyone in the bar. I was hoping this was going to be a temporary thing, but when I saw how they built that wall I knew it was permanent.

But the thought of getting dances right by the pool table does not really appeal to me.
Out of curiosity, I stopped in a few times over the past week. The place has been pretty empty & not many of the regular dancers. I did run in to a dancer I've known for a long time. She's the one that keeps me up to date on everything. Turns out, business seems to have been way down since they closed off the dance area. Apparently they are considering opening it up this weekend. Don't know if it's for sure. To my understanding, the dancers have been told to behave, & tame the dances down. Keep in mind, the dance area has always had 2 cameras mounted right above the dance spots, & it sounds like they will be watched closely. Please keep and mind, none of this is set in stone, I guess time will tell.

I was sipping my beer and looking up now and then to see if an opportunity arises. Well, some gangbanger was trying to start some bs and fight me for looking at him for not even a 1/4 second. Told him I don't care about him or his conversation, I'm just trying to enjoy myself. I'm going to start trying the other places down the street. He might be taking something or trying to make himself look cool in front of his friend, I just don't think it worth it at the talent has gone down, no back room, and stupid gangbangers.

Not sure if it's the cliente of the dancers that brings trouble in or the lack of security. Weekends are getting sketchy especially when going solo.
Well, I gave it a couple more trys over the past few days. Board up is still in place. Parking lot & the bar have been empty. Only a couple girls giving very low mileage dances. The girls are pissed since not too many customers want to waste their money on lame dances. They have been rather vocal on what's going on. From what I've been told by a couple dancers, the management is talking about opening the dance area up again but plan to start charging the girls more for their activities back there. Right now the girls pay a flat fee to the house for their shift. If what I've been told by a few dancers is correct, the girls will have to pay a fee each time they go back for a dance & "fined" for anything beyond air dances. If this is true, it just means prices will go up. Some of the girls I've spoken with about this are already making arrangements at other bars (Carl's, Bobby's, Louis, etc). I don't like speculating, especially on a public forum, but I've heard the same story from a few of the girls on different shifts & days. The details have been consistent. I am a firm believer in, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Maybe management will go back to running a bar instead of running the girls.

From the looks of things my last few visits, none of them are doing many dances. The way I figure it is that if enough girls quit or ***** to management, they may have to go back to the way it used to be. BTW, mant of them are still open to OTC activities.

I won't get into specifics but it's taking A LOT of the fun away from it.
