She could just as easily say you molested her, after offering her a ride. Make sure you know what you are doing. Stake her out before you let her in.
Interesting. Can anyone second this?

A hobbyist can refrain from mentioning anything about money, and anything about sexual activity, unless the streetwalker is willing to enter his vehicle and drive away with him for at least several blocks. There haven't been any reports on the forum of undercover policewomen in Honolulu prostitution sting operations driving away inside the vehicles of male customers (presumably because that is against police procedure in Honolulu).

Where can a fellow monger who has been out of town for a while go to get a Japanese provider?
It was previously posted that Emi, who has often worked as a downtown streetwalker, is Japanese. The forum's search tool can be used to read the prior posts about her. Additionally, in the Escort Classified Ads thread, there are recent posts about a Japanese provider in Aina Haina who advertises on craigslist.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that Emi has gone back to japan for a while. Talked to her yesterday. She said that she is gonna try and get a new Visa to come back. Stay safe all.
Saw "Mina" just in front of the mortuary near Long's. Another of the "new talent" that has been noted DT. Picked her up & agreed to. 8 for a car date. Parked & proceeded with CBJ after attempts at casual conversation failed. After it was good & hard, I said I was ready & she looked at me & asked, "For what? " She said I couldn't really be expecting FS for. 8, & that she always gets at least $ for CBJ. When I tried to correct her, she said that as a local I should at least know the going rates. Came & dropped her off where I picked her up. Man, I wanted a refund of at least part of the. 8.
Medium height, black/latina. Pretty, with a very short red dress & big shoes. Pretty enough, but a bait & switch IMO.
Ya, I had her too. When we got to a spot, she said $ for a BJ. I was like "WTF? " I gave her $. 2 because the little head was thinking. She just laid there like a dead body while I was pounding away. She said she was Dominican. I have to admit though, she gave great head.
My guess is a police informant is not the same as a real cop. Real cops unless under some deep cover like on Miami Vice or something can’t take the unknown risks of getting in a perp’s car.
When you see a Chinatown bust, notice how the decoy lady, walks ahead and well out of reach of the suspect, before the bust. Suppose the guy had a DUI, and wanted to run when he suspected he had a cop in his car?
Look at how easy it would be for a driver to kidnap her, if she just got in. He could be resisting arrest on a warrant or something really serious, unknown to the local coppers. How can they guarantee her safety? Posters in San Francisco got bent out of shape suggesting otherwise. One of those TV shows “narrated by Bill Kurtis,” showed a sting in Stockton, Ca.

You can see for yourself. Some strung out "Junkie Hooker," got into a panderer's station wagon wearing a hidden camera. She took him to one of my frequent spots, under the shade of a tree, near the harbor. I half expected to see me parked there. She jumped out of the car with coppers driving up close behind. They hand cuffed the guy up against his car.
The lady was working with the police, probably as an informant. The guy was set up and taken down. In Stockton they used to be able to take your car just for letting a hooker get in. The city shows people convicted of prostitution and solicitation of prostitutes monthly on Channel 97 - Vice TV

Feel like I'm in the club now that I officialy had my first rob experience.
Picked up larger polynesian looking girl wearing all white 10pm near papa johns. Looked cheap and I soon realized why. She asked me some weird questions, and I shoulda known then, but she hopped in anyway.
Think she was a rookie because she was taking all the precautions. We agreed on $30 bbjtcim and even went to a spot she wanted to go to really bad. Wasn't thinking with the right head so drove all the way up Pali. Fucking waste of gas.
I pull my pants down and she starts talking. She tells me she ain't doin anything. I got pissed as fuck so I drove back to town then she started talking about her mom in a mental institution and her dad dead, brother's locked up and she's raising someone else's family. You could just tell by the way she talked and her tangents that she wasn't right in the head either.
I don't really say much till we're back then suddenly she doesn't want to get out until I pay her the $30. I told her she offered nothing, but she said she gave me her time then instructs me to empty my pockets or her 6'4" 278lb pimp was going to follow me home. For a second I had to think about it, then I realized that she was literally out of her mind. I told her I'd give her $10 for her time (to be fair. It had been an hour. And I think it made her feel a little better), I shifted into gear and told her to get the fuck out of my car. That's when she hopped out and I sped away.
Her name was something samoan sounding. She kept telling me I was a rookie and that I was lying about being vice. Kinda reminded me of my friend who is a paranoid schitzophrenic. Maybe that's why her mom's locked up. She also warned me that she'd tell all her pimp and her friends about me (friends she mentioned.Rachel. Worked further down Kukui. Mahu prob).
Anyway, just wondering if I should've done something different. Feel like a true veteran now having racked up a rob after 8 years of mongering. Any comments on what I should've done/could do in the future?
Not much you can do. If you're out in dt long enough, it will happen to you a bunch of times. Happened to me numerous times. All they want is some $ for their time but nothing went down so you feel you shouldnt give them $. But sometimes you just have to fork over 20 bucks or something just to avoid the troubles. Some of them carry a knife in their purse so just not worth the hassles if you know what I mean. Just chalk it up and avoid next time. Sometimes you find one that is cool at that time but maybe next time she is high and all f-d up and is a ***** so you never can tell. Just part of the territory I guess.
Technique
All they want is .. $ for .. nothing.
Never happened to me with a non-regular.
Girls I trust make it up, or it happens one time. Her last time.

Ripoff attempts are quite an interesting subject. During my years as a downtown hobbyist, I've sometimes encountered ripoff attempts (although fortunately not recently). In my experience, the ripoff attempts were not only by providers (or non-providers) who made a deal and then refused to provide any service, but also by those who sought to change the deal to do less than already agreed upon (for the same amount of money) and those who arrogantly demanded to be paid when a deal could not be reached (in other words, demanding to be paid merely for riding in my vehicle and discussing a potential deal). Depending on the circumstances, over the years I've taken two approaches to such ripoff attempts.
The first approach is to pay the thief. Of course, that is the easier and safer approach, but it can make a hobbyist feel like a victim and a loser. In addition, paying a thief definitely encourages more ripoff attempts, because then the ripoff was successful for the thief. When I have paid, I've tried to pay a lesser amount than the amount demanded by the thief. Sometimes that wasn't difficult because the thief wanted to use the money to quickly buy a drug, and every minute the thief would waste arguing over the amount of money meant more delay for the thief in obtaining the desired drug. At times, however, a thief can be adamant about obtaining the full amount of money demanded. In that case, depending upon the situation, I've sometimes tried to use a display of anger (including profanity) -- and even create the impression that I may become violent -- to intimidate a thief into accepting a lesser amount of money. That can work, but not always. Some thieves aren't easily intimidated if, for example, they are crazy, or high on ice or crack, or armed with a weapon, or have a cellphone to call a pimp, boyfriend or someone else.
The second approach is to refuse to pay anything if the thief hasn't performed any sexual services. That approach can be difficult and dangerous, but it can provide a hobbyist with the satisfying and empowered feeling that he refused to be ripped off. It can also strongly demonstrate to the thief that not every hobbyist is willing to be a victim. Of course, if a hobbyist refuses to pay anything, the thief may refuse to leave the hobbyist's vehicle and may even physically attack the hobbyist (as happened to me several times in the past). In that event, the hobbyist's objective should be to remove the thief from his vehicle at a location where there are no people or as few people as possible, and then leave the area as quickly as possible. Sometimes the thief can be removed from the vehicle merely by a display of anger and profanity, and by creating the impression that the hobbyist could become violent, but at other times the thief may have to be physically removed from the vehicle.
Not surprisingly, there are dangers involved in doing that: for example, a witness may call the police to report a disturbance (especially if the thief starts yelling); the thief may produce a weapon; or the thief may damage the hobbyist's vehicle. In the past, when I was younger and more hot tempered, I successfully executed several physical ejections and extractions of thieves from my vehicle. However, more recently I've refrained from that approach because of the potential adverse consequences.
By the way, in your situation, are you absolutely sure that this person was a genuine female, or might there at least be a possibility that "she" was also dishonest about her real gender? The reason I ask is because the person was "larger" and "Polynesian looking," had a "Samoan sounding" name, was located at night "near Papa John's" (where mahus are often present), and threatened to tell a friend whom you thought was probably a mahu. Mahus can be even more bold and dangerous than women in attempting ripoffs.
Anyway, consider yourself fortunate that in this case you were only ripped off for $10. It could have potentially been worse.

1st of all, I woulda neva picked up a Poly. Period. DT is so hit and miss, gotta go sober and down low and low key like masta Kap, to dodge all the leo' leo' in the area.
2nd of all, everybody is all UFC/MMA nowadays. (Don't you know that the gun is an equalizer, and that 6'7"/278 dosent mean that youre bullet proof?)
3rd. Hawaii people take things too literally unlike the mainland blacks and whites. I woulda just told that biatch F U, n' git da fak outta mah caH, else U git da right cross across da face, one crak meda vac.
Sorry to hear about your 10 cent loss.
one crak meda vac.
H,
That line is classic.
I haven't heard that phrase in a while.
ThePenisMighty, thank you for your report. Often times people on this forum do not report these types of incidents. I've never picked up one from tracks but have passed by from time to time, just to window shop. I was working up the courage to stop and sample but this type of crime just confirms that AMPs are the way to go for me. Plus, I HATE doing it in the car. Actually, HATE is an understatement. Haven't done it since the 11th grade.

I'd have to say that I've never run into this situation before so they are rare. I'd encourage you to at least try it. I didn't think I'd ever get into it, but it's really a rush and the only reason I still do it. I was more an AMP person, but realized those were meant for days I needed to kick back and relax.
Thanks for the recommendations. Playing that night over in my head again, I probably could've used some more intimidation, but I think keeping a cool head and keeping the situation cool was important to wearing the ***** out. I'll keep the gun thing in mind. But not sure how important it is. Any you guys carry this type of "insurance? "
This was my first poly, but as for the mahu part, I checked below deck. Then again, plastic surgery in this era is quite amazing. But I'm not sure there's anything that can correct for voice. Drove by queen's and there are some convincing ones, but the voice always lies. Oh, anyone know if real hoes hang around that area?
