One of the reasons being to educate mongers (especially those less experienced in the hobby) to the level that can be taken by some ladies in this environment. He clearly acknowledged the mistakes he made in the whole story. In the comments made by several mongers in that thread, they also acknowledge falling for similar situations by other providers. Some of which included much greater amounts of financial involvement. To me and many others it takes a big man to stand up and lay out a situation like that for the whole community to see for reasons that can benefit others. I am sure there are and will be newer mongers that will read that thread and will now watch situations that they may come across to avoid similar situations as soon as they come to light.

Well, I have visited some of the penrose seal approved providers, not because of his seal, and at best, for me about 50% of them were good providers. Some were addicts, some just weren't worth my trip!! The old addage, YMMV does apply in this hobby. I personally have had way better success, reading reviews, weeding thru the novels, and building a concensus on a privider before seeing them. Some I just took a chance and saw, with measured enjoyment. Katana was one that I saw based on several outstanding reviews, and there was DEFINITELY no dissapointment from me AT ALL!! I will continue reading this forum, and seeing any provider based on reviews, my own judgement, and rejecting anyones "Seal of approval". There are many great reviewers contributing to this forum. Read and WEED, and decide for yourself!
