What's a good place to get a prepaid mobile phone? I use to buy this cheap AT&T flip phones from Walmart for $14.99, then the Pay to Go $100 card. It was good for a year and you only paid $2/ day unlimited calls and text on only the days you used it. I went back to Walmart and couldn't find the same deal. Any recommendations on place, type of phone, and plan? I don't need a smart phone and data since I have my separate iPhone. Just a separate number to talk and text. Thanks my braddahs.

They still carry it but, it's not available at every Walmart store and they don't have alot of these phones in stock. You need to check other Walmart stores to see if they have it. Check Best Buy also. They carry it for the same price.
One thing I don't like about this $2/day thing is that just 1 text sent for that 1 day will be $2.00. It can add up to $60/month if each day a call or text is made.

At Walmart, they have Virgin mobile and Boost Mobile that operates on the Sprint Network. Total Wireless operates under Verizon's network. Metro PCS and Walmart Family Mobile operates on T-Mobile network. Straight Talk allows you to bring your own phone and choose which Network (GSM or CDMA) you want to operate under. You can also bring your own unlocked GSM phone for T-Mobile and just buy the SIM starter kit. Net 10, Tracfone and Straight Talk phones at Walmart, you need to look at the model of the phone to verify what Network it's under.
