Its easy to set up and use. Phone and text without an issue. If you get a crazy woman calling you and you just want to disappear, you hit a button and your phone number disappears and you start with a new number. Saves the hassle of two phones.
If you don't want a burner get a prepared SIM card. For my private conversations, I use WeChat and hide the app on my phone.

There seems to be 2 periods that we need to be reminded of these stings and they are mostly during (local) election times and Super Bowl (national). Not to say these are the only times the vice squads are in the news but for the most part a little bit in the news goes a long way. Similar to seeing State troopers parked in very conspicuous spots before holidays as a reminder to us that they're out there. So if we listen to our mothers' voice in our heads that says to stay close to home because there's a storm coming, soon the storm passes and we live to play another day.
