Is it just me or have PPD been out in force the last couple of weeks?

I haven't seriously been burning wagon wheel ruts in 82nd as much & as result cannot say "in force" as a result of one afternoon or even my last few recons.
But that last recon did reveal multiple PPD SUV or undercover from Flavel>Sandy which was why I mentioned it. I didn't count them all but my guesstimation was somewhere around twenty+- marked SUV & at least three unmarked SUVs.
Only mentioned it as it seemed like an extraordinary amount for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Update:
For what its' worth, this afternoon received a radio report from another member who was out Thursday night & he told me LEO of all sorts were everywhere.
According to him saw a worker detained by a OSP & something happened at 82nd/Sandy 7-11 that warranted multiple units & later boarding up of window.

If you don't have history of deviant behavior, most likely you will receive a misdemeanor citation, pay a fine, and be required to attend diversion which would include education in "John's" school.
I say individually specific because it depends on what you have to lose.
The goal is to humiliate and discourage you from engaging with sex workers services and upset demand in the business model.

Towing fees & City of Portland "release" fees can add up to as much as 500.00+-. Release fees can be negotiated with city with a ton of work & each day it takes you to negotiate is another daily storage fee charge.
John School is a 1000.00 & has been for years. Though a public defender & guilty plea could possibly lower this cost some.
A fine of some sort but for a first offender not the maximum allowed.
Again, for first offense, there is likely no jail time.
Since 2022 expungement fees are no longer as expensive but there enough smaller related fees that add up to a couple hundred.
I won't even estimate what the lawyer costs would be. Or if you had a second arrest.

This requires a very lengthy legal process. Quality Inn closed bfor remodeling because it was sold to a private equity group through the lender. The prior owner was out of cash.

Around 8 ish was settled in this chilly evening thinking some dinner & movie when Tori called saying the power in her place was dead despite resetting the GFCI like I showed her a while ago. Said the reset wouldn't take. With forecast calling for high twenties tonight, her tent was rapidly cooling down. Thinking it was likely the non-weatherproofed older GFCI & though I was fairly sure I didn't double checked to see if I had a spare in shop. Called her back saying I didn't but would come over & take a look at it. After testing the 10 ga. cord running to her tent passed, pulled the outlet out of siding to find some corrosion. Cleaned it yet it still refused to reset...
By now it was 9:30 or so & both of us were fucking cold. With nothing open to pick up a weatherproof cover & outlet & despite the tightness & insulation in her tent, inside thermometer was 42 degrees & falling fast. Nothing to be done except bring her to my place for the night to console her. Laughs...

Thought I would stock up on some basics just in case & also get materials needed for Tori's electrical issues. Leaving Tori to fend for herself curled up on couch with a movie. First seen was near the Dar Ron where the older busty bulldog faced brunette was lurking about. For decades she's been making me yawn. Or worse...
Arts wall had a twenties brunette WSW in black tights & jacket above brown boots with fur topping. She looked presentable, minus the nearby a Lyle she was certainly familiar with. Also had a suitcase between them as she sorta' eye fucked passing traffic. She was gone on my return though Lyle was keeping an eye on the luggage.

An obvious fripperies laden younger bleached blonde WSW in the usual black fishnets over a matching thong with some prominent pussy print had some good points.
Her slightly melanated friend wasn't really all that off-putting yet after the blonde's proud pussy print, ultimately their shared cul-de-sac of evolution look failed to make a lasting impression on me...

With the scenery limited & always being on the wrong side of the avenue for photo opportunities. Instead took an inventory of the northeast speed cameras...
Spotted the Northbound companion to Baggers @ McFlurrie central. Like the Southbound one, not operational yet.
Waiting at Glisan light the camera in front of Burgerville that faces North was had a field day as various ejitt drivers going East pushed the left turn light. Those particular cameras are operational according to city site & lit up at least two $265 tickets as I waited @ light.
The camera @ Burnside Chevron also flashed an impatient truck in front of me who after pulling around me, pushed the yellow to red limit. City sites are vague whether this particular camera is actively issuing citations or still in warning phase.
Not too worried about the cameras since I don't push lights & keep my speed within the 10 mph buffer...
As far as mobile enforcement seen, compared to earlier recons, nary a PPD SUV seen.
Thirty bucks later with new weatherproof cover & new 20-AMP gfci in hand & after pig tailing the original too short feeds in box installed & had power in tent within an hour or so.
As you can see, later she was more than very appreciative for nothing more than materials & labor costs & some meals & movies.

Fucking huge blizzard called the "Lindsey Snowstorm" (after the mayor of NYC who apparently did such a horrible job of street cleanup, they named it after him). I was seven years old and I remember it like it was yesterday & likely only thought in my head that night was thinking whether school would be cancelled on Monday.
After a day of sledding. Just another Sunday evening in suburban New Jersey & after Sunday dinner. My folks & I plus the first of my younger sisters gathered in the living room to watch TV.
Both my folks played piano & I remember listening to their cocktail parties from my room. Yellow Bird, The Twist w / all that late 50's early 60's sing along shit. Also, my Gramma, when babysitting me would play me Wagner, Ravel & Beethoven. (Loud as fuck as by then she was partially deaf).
By the time "She Loves You" was quarter through, I remember my Mom putting down her drink & pulling me up to dance around the living room with us both singing hand in hand until it was over.
When the performance was over. From behind his Sunday NY times, my father's reaction was. "humph. Those Beagles (sic) all need a haircut". Little did he know it was the start of a decade long ongoing argument about my hair length.
For my upcoming birthday I got a transistor AM radio that was soon strapped to my Stingrays handlebars while I listened to WABC AM blaring hits of the day as I rode. That tinny sounding transistor served me well for the next few years until a spill on bike killed it.
My Gramma had recently died & while helping my father clean out her apartment, I noticed her Magnavox suitcase stereo & asked if I could have it. Since it'd been an issue with me messing up the formal living rooms huge console stereo with scattered 45's' & LPs', he agreed & soon I was figuring out how to detach the speakers for better stereo imaging. Laughs.
I don't listen much to Beatles that often nowadays, yet it was the moment when music became important in my life...

Went out for a quick beer run around 4:30. Since it'd been a week with no recons ran the usual JCB>82nd>Immigrant statue>JCB route.
Empty until El Burrito Loco where a thicker short haired blonde in blue patterned knee length above black tights & matching heels was heading North. In the rearview I got a quick glimpse of cute face, yet looped around to nothing.
Later on my way south she was @ Baggers & I visually validated that her thicker lower half was nowhere near as inviting as her face.
Sandy @ 92nd revealed a somewhat sturdy older LSW? in shocking pink boots below grey jeans & white coat. Me siento equis...
Only PPD seen where a several in code three mode were roaring West on Glisan. The camera there was like a strobe light for a quick couple seconds.

Like half Multnomah county, copilot & I were out grabbing a few extra necessities ahead of the ice/snow. JCB>82nd>Immigrant Statue>JCB around 4:30+-.
Not one early bird 304 seen until past Division...
Minus a somewhat sturdy late twenties early thirties shoulder length maned fake redhead WSW in black jacket above matching knee-high boots walking near Fancy House. Think I've seen her before intermittently Sunny Taboo area the last year & only seen her get scooped once by PCC. She somewhat reminded me of Roxanne from a few years back...
All the usual hot spots were devoid of any distractions for your dick until....
One younger skinny BSW with jet black hair & pink tips in black tights & red jacket above heels near the Armory was getting scooped. Might have been the cold but no jungle drums heard...
Stopped at Glenhaven Park for a quick perimeter walk for the copilot.
Texted Tori if she needed anything or maybe she'd like to hang over here with copilot & I for the worst of storm. She asked to be picked up near local eatery & was waiting with sweet smelling takeout bag. She must have read my puzzled face & told me on Wednesdays & other days one of the cooks gives her a bag of free food. Answered my unasked questions about where she eats when I'm not around.
After we picked up a few overnight things at her place headed to mine & split the warmed up overpriced artisan burger & fries after I threw together a quick salad & opened some cabernet before watching the better part of a dystopian series of my choosing. Based on one of my favorite science fiction dystopian novels: "Earth Abides".
Not one PPD SUV or related seen on this outing...
