You'll definitely be "billed out".
So it means you are arrested I need to be billed out.
These figures are pre HTU & from memory. I used to have creepy weirdo neighbor who for some reason told me the whole story of his arrest ten or so years ago. The entire neighborhood was ecstatic to see him move out afterwards when he went to jail while making the sex offender registry a few years later.
Even if you don't fight it.
Towing fees & City of Portland "release" fees can add up to as much as 500.00+-. Release fees can be negotiated with city with a ton of work & each day it takes you to negotiate is another daily storage fee charge.
John School is a 1000.00 & has been for years. Though a public defender & guilty plea could possibly lower this cost some.
A fine of some sort but for a first offender not the maximum allowed.
Again, for first offense, there is likely no jail time.
Since 2022 expungement fees are no longer as expensive but there enough smaller related fees that add up to a couple hundred.
I won't even estimate what the lawyer costs would be. Or if you had a second arrest.
Be safe out there...
