Acolyte, re the scene
You give a great description of the situation, although there are jewels in the rough. I am increasingly (50%?) sticking with regulars that do not advertise often. One of them placed a single ad I happened to catch and never placed another. Too bad I'm such a butterfly and tend to move on after a while. Also, I've found a couple of girls thru simple networking... i.e., "Do you have a friend that likes sex but needs help with the rent?" This has helped especially in the Latina category. And it won't work if you are anything other than a complete gentleman.
It is such a shame sometimes. I recently posted about a vietnamese chick... I was really enamored (er, in lust) with her but the service was SO bad. You know, the perfunctory suck and fuck, then get out! With even a modicum of interest in fucking me she could have easily extracted another grand from me in the following weeks :)

I've been noticing that about the scene esp when a few providers I see who dont advertise much tell me to give them a call for an appt even if they dont advertise. Exploring new options is fun but after a while when the overall quality gets low it begins to get tiresome esp with the loads of old pics, fake pics, bad attitude, ncns and poor service.
I feel you about the falling in lust too, I had a thing for Ms Jucci but after reading report after report about her bad service and indifferent attitude; I just gave her a complete miss.
I guess the thing now is find something good and stick with it till you find something better or on the same level.
