Every time she replies days after I texted her and usually at 3, 4, 5 AM. This last time, I started early. LOL. She told me she wasn't doing well. I had no idea what that meant. Then she texted me on the last day asking if I could send her money.

Don't build your day around her. And even if she confirms, make sure you have a backup plan in whatever city she's in.

We hadn't seen each other for about a year but still kept in touch by text every so often so after she had flaked on me the week before, I nailed her down to get together all night to catch up.
