Went to Willow for my first time. Of course I told her I'd been there before. She didn't believe me but laughed that I answered twice that I had been. Even if they go out of business it's not the end of the world. There are plenty of other places around, it might just add an extra 15 minutes to your drive time. I remember in 2016 when the tight asses in St Charles shut down all of the spa's. I was sad for about a week and then I just branched out and found new territory. Spa's are like weeds in your lawn. You are standing there drinking a beer and looking at your beautifully manicured lawn after you finished mowing and pulling weeds. Then 2 days later you walk outside and find a few new weeds growing in your lawn. It's the same thing with the Spa's, they shut 1 down and eventually 2 new one's open. Right now the Aurora / Naperville area has more than enough Spa's to keep most Mongers happy. SaintChuck.

It kind of had the "we are being watched" vibe to it then. It was awful service and not what it used to be, It formerly was my number one spot in the early days of Covid.

As for Willow, I kind of feel like the Yogi Berra wisdom of "Nobody goes there anymore, it is too crowded. " I have gone there so many times in the last month and gotten mostly shut out. I did get in once and saw Mimi (and was introduced to Penny, who I have been wanting to see, but it is always busy). And now it sounds like Willow will be gone soon. I would also suspect service will diminish in the meantime. I have been meaning to make location adjustments for a while and I guess this will force me to.

Still, it blows, because these two places WERE (at different times) fantastic and they are very close to both home and work, which made them easy to get to unnoticed.
