Normally I don't partake in the SW scene, but I was out and about today and thought I may do some window shopping. Was downtown first around race and central, by a bar called 1132 I think. Lastly I went to beechmont to see if I could see the normal WSW that frequent the area by 275. Didn't see any of them, and there are normally 3-4 wandering around. Big LE presence though, so that may have had something to do with it.

I have to say, she is jumping up in the ranks as being one of my top ATF's. Met up with her again to get one of the those fantastic BBBJCIM's. If this WSW is working in that location it is a chances are she might be new to this area, and only in it to make some quick money. The police and people in that area tend to pay more attention to SW activities, and anything that looks like it. They see it as equal to drug dealing.
If you are going to do street action, you have to be ready to call someones bluff. If you can't then the streets will run over you, without mercy. If you show fear, then it will be picked up immediately. Scammers can see fear, and can pick the weakest from the herd and attack.
Don't make yourself into a victim, and be bold enough to physically drag an SW out of your car by the hair, if the need be. If you can; t be a little on the ruthless side or appear to be, then be prepared to have scams tried on you.
Not everyone can do this, and not everyone wants to, but appearance can be everything.

My Sunday meet with my streetscort did not materialize. It appears that she got her fun on before I was to meet her. She could barely hold a conversation on the phone. I took a pass and I think it will be a permanent pass.
I have to be honest; I do not do well in these types of situations. I clearly understand that S / W, streetscorts and Escorts can and do succumb to pharmaceutical addiction. I just have a very difficult time dealing with it when it is right in my face.
I personally have not had to deal with this issue as much in my dealings with Escorts. I have meet with an escort or two that clearly needed the money to get where she wanted to go, hence the very rushed session which I was more than OK with because I was very glad it was over.

I had to laugh at that. It is all too common, and you got to expect it when using streetscorts.
I have had many SW's needing to get a hit, lick, whatever before seeing me, but they better already have it because I aint taken them to get it.
I have even let them do it while I was there, but each person reacts differently and some folks go crazy once they finish and some get extremely passionate. You just got to know your SW.

Recently, several of the boards in Cincinnati have turned into chat boards. This SW board, for instance. Getnati is right on the money. Chit-chat is best done via PM (as well as those missives that contain exact info on full names, digits, locations). We have seen a trend in which a few posters congratulate each other,"cute" exchanges occur, etc.
While I plead guilty that I have not made information-containing posts as frequently as before. There are multiple reasons, but I STILL value posts that specifically benefit mongers, and TRY to include information of value to mongers.
For instance, I consider even posts of failed cruises of value because mongers may want to expand their horizons. On the other hand, prudent technique should be described: i.e., while OTR has slim pickings these days, upper McM is better, but watch for LE who know the same info. While the D&D convenience store is very hot, you can make the appropriate nods, and turn onto a cross street for the SW to come to you.

I've never seen her though.
Should have trusted my initial instincts and played catch and release with this one. Unfortunately I did not and it was. 2 wasted on a DIY finish.

This is where I wanted to comment about rules. Had I followed the rule about services prior to payment this would not have happened, however, I have not found a SW yet that will go along with this. In their book of rules they are just as likely to become a victim of ripoff by doing so. I also could have offered half up front and probably would have avoided this as well or at least only out half as much. I will need to be more carefull about the denominations I am carrying the next time I pick up a new one.
And lastly, trust your instincts! Before we were even parked she commented about not feeling well. It was then that instinct kicked in and I thought about how a sick, preggo SW is not going to enjoy having little Cee tickling her tonsils and I should release her. She was on a break at the BP station on Hopple Street one Saturday night. I was right behind her in line at the Subway shop inside the BP station.
She could easily wear wigs and the right clothes and walk the streets and blend in and a lot of guys would stop.
The other officer was Tia Pearson and I seen her on McMicken in uniform.
Should be interesting show of the four. Wonder how much they'll show about OTR.
Watch out guys, never know if that new face is a fresh SW or undercover.

I caught bits of pieces of the show as I was finishing up watching something else on the DVR (DVR was set to record it, so no worries on missing on my front). For anyone that does the SW thing, or frequents those parts of Cinci at least, methinks that this show would be a very good training tool to both hone your senses and see what types of scenarios that LE utilizes from their own perspective. Something to think about. :)

Look you are dealing with SW's who deal with dealers / pimps who will stomp their ass for little or nothing. And some of these men are damn crazy, even when you don't have to personally deal with them. So why in the hell would you think some of these weak SW, especially the WSW's would not try to play you. You are in an area where basically anything goes and often it does. Come on people, if you did this kind of thinking at your job you'd get time off, without pay, and in this case, you did.
If you are tried of giving away "FREE MONEY" then by no means go against the rules with an unknown, untrusted, and untested. It is a game with them, and you are the SUCKER, and getting your Free Money is the score and the most money they get from you suckers, the more they will do it. Then as they tell others they get the nerve to try it to. And I t mean try it, as risky as it will be.
Most SW's don't want to the trouble and don't want to take the risk, but when pimps & dealers want their money, and you don't have any to begin with due to drugs or whatever, then you will try anything. And if it works, they'll try it over and over.
Here is the SOLUTION: If they tag you as a sucker then chances are you are. These girls are extremely afraid of getting their Ass's Kicked, and if you look like you will do just that, they will be extremely reluctant to try anything. Yea you want to be a nice guy, but you are in a trade which nice guys mainly will finish last. You have to let them know that you are tougher than they think you are. I have put many an SW's no matter who in her place, and have grabbed a few by the hair and told them I will break their nose, if they don't get out of my car. I am willing to take it to a higher level and once they know this, they spread the word on the incident. Others may not know who YOU are, but they have heard what happened.
White men are the main victims of scammers because SW's know you will take the path of least resistance, and back away, instead of fight, plus they know chance are you are married, and don't want to answer anything to the wife, and they think most white men can't fight anyway, and are afraid of their shadows. Often times you act just like that, and it is a Catch 22, situation.
These kinds scammers look for men they deem as Soft, and can take advantage of them. They will try anyone, but they look for the easy mark. That is often why SW's won't go with everyone. If they think you look or act tough, they will avoid doing the scam, and often will deliver service. Once they get your MONEY and won't deliver service, then be prepared to grab something of theirs, especially their cell phone, whether it is on or off. I have done this, several times and have even made them give me my money back, and an extra $5, to get their cell phone back. This was in the early days of this forum, and this site. I have done even more in my very early days. I have even got into fights with their pimps over money and service, in a rip-off situation.
Pimps don't want conflict, or disrespect, but more than anything they don't want the POLICE, intervention. That is very bad for business. And since we don't have real Pimps here, it is more like a boyfriend, bodyguard, leech than a real pimp.
If you are not prepare to call a bluff, then street action is not for you. If you look soft, they will treat you hard, and if you act / look easy, then you can fill in the blanks.
Senior Member have no excuse. None! We all know better, even among our trusted regulars, we have to still be cautious.
Drugs, Addiction, and Money make for Strange Bed Follows.
Lastly, if you are going to give folks an SW's digits then you need to give them a name and specific instructions. If you don't they will do something stupid everytime.

Just took a little look-see in the OTR. Looks like McMik is ripe with some little girls, some of which I recognize from the descriptions here. I was just looking but, to those so inclined, it might be worth a trip.

Just took a little look-see in the OTR. Looks like McMik is ripe with some little girls, some of which I recognize from the descriptions here. I was just looking but, to those so inclined, it might be worth a trip.
One of you mentioned Natasha a while back. My experience was exactly the same as the one described. I was really keeping an eye out for her. Lost in action I guess. The only thing on McMik was one pretty good looking, but unknown, WSW, at the bottom of Straight St, and several people who looked suspiciously out of place. I rolled through 20min later and the WSW was getting hassled by CPD. The "out of place" people were nowhere to be found. I've seen undercover LE in this area several times now. Be extra careful.
So I'm sure you all have seen the latest episode of Police Women of Cincinnati. If not, you might want to. They have a segment highlighted for busting SW's. It's interesting to hear that most of the girls are street smart enough to avoid the soliciting charge, but they get hit with loitering to solicit instead. How does LE prove within reasonable doubt that they are IN FACT doing that. Then again, we all know they don't have the funds or knowledge to fight it.
One of the SW's (in pink) is pictured on the board servicing one of our fellow members. Not a "looker" but always out.
The other one (cuter one) was familiar as well. Guess she had felony warrants though. Wonder what they were. If anyone has her name, PM me. I've seen her out in UPH a few times as well. Not anytime recent though. May have been before she was busted. If anyone has info for her, I'm curious as to how the service was and if she can be gotten a hold of.
I can't count how many warrants these SW's have on "No Show Warrants" for court. You are talking about trying to get a drug addict to show up in the early morning for court, on a bogus charge they are pissed off about anyway. Then they have to find a way to get to court, and most really don't LIVE downtown, nearby, but might trick nearby. That is why they get Loitering with intent to Solicit. They are just hanging around in the same area, hour after hour, and have no living address in the area, or even a car to move around, to get anywhere. And this is a lite charge, so they can't get a public defender, who can beat that charge. It doesn't help have previous Soliciting charges against them too.
I saw the second episode last week and saw the heavy set BSW they arrested in the sting truck. I have seen her before. Nice attitude, but nothing I'd ever pick up. Too Miss Piggy for me.
Often when I have picked up a few they have had to ride very low in the seat to avoid being spotted, by LE, because they have warrant for "No Shows." It 's just STUPID, careless, and dumb. But we are not talking about everyday rational people, making good decent life decisions.
Back during the Summer I saw one night a camera crew with the CPD, near the corner of McMik & Vine, with the lights & camera rolling on a few WSW's and a dude nearby. I thought it was them filming an episode of "COPS", but it might have been the P. W. Of Cincy.
I thought it to be unusual, but when no one else saw it but myself and a few friends of mine, I dismissed it.
I also think I have seen the two white cops on the show as decoys on Walnut & Liberty. They were Hot Looking at the corners, and if you know the rules you knew they were decoys.
SW's right now are starved for money, because, the ones that never have minutes on their cells, are now managing to have enough to call you to see if you are available. Amazing!
Still, they can't keep enough minute for a return call only a few days later.
The streets are too cold to be standing in to wait for a pickup if any, and the layers of clothes, hooded faces, and more, make it too hard to see what you are getting into. And some of the SW's are not keeping themselves the freshest, if I can calm that. A few I picked up, smell very MUSKY to me, and I let them back off after telling them so. Of course they said they are staying at a Flop House. Not exactly a place for cleanliness & safety.
Once it warms up, it will take a little while for them to come out of hiding, and hit the streets again. And don't be fooled by the budget cut. The LE will not miss a beat on arresting SW's, and Patrolling the streets.
And if the PWofC is a hit then look for more "Lights, Cameras, and Action.

I know there has been an abundance of comments already regarding this Guide. Please remember this guide is being posted so that as veteran hobbyist we will be able to point the new member to a document that will help them get started. This will alleviate veteran members from the redundant task of explaining the hobby repeatedly or just telling nubies to RTFF to get them off our backs. I feel it is easier and makes more sense to give them the tools they need rather than tell them to read and good luck. I know that there are many veteran hobbyists here that do go out of their way to help nubies and I feel they should be congratulated. I also feel that this guide will make it easier on all, nubies and veterans alike.
