New Jay Clyde
I decided to dream and TOFFT and visit since it was new to the area. Its located at a store front next to a shady apartment complex in Newport News, so mind your surroundings, lock your doors, and don't carry any more cash than what you need. I walked inside and it was sparkling clean and new. There is even a very nice lighted desk marked "Reception" where mms / the only girl working will take your money. Her English is good enough to make conversation and understand you as well. Probably better than most to be honest. I gave. 6 for an hour. I also asked for a table shower and she said it will be ready in a week. The table inside does not have the traditional donut hole, so it wasn't the most comfortable experience. However it was ok because the massage and conversation were good and she knows exactly how to give a great massage textbook wise. No teasing. Not even on the flip. No teasing and I stayed draped the whole time in the front. Towel stayed on on the back too. I tipped her a lincoln and thanked her. She handed me the Buy 10 get one free card. If you want something extra, good luck. I don't think it's happening here. However, if you want a great massage with very decent conversation and a possible new friend, this would be the place for you. If you need stressed relieved, don't come here. Got body aches and need some good sleep? Need good conversation? This is the place to be. Don't think YMMV with her.

Burg AMPs
Visited one on Monticello last week, nothing has changed, except there was guy at desk. Appeared to be monitoring cameras. No changes since last time, left happy but no damn tease. On way out, she gave me a card for "new location" on John Tyler. Not sure if that meant they will be closing this one, and moving to old mawa.
Please share (pm) any AMP info from the burg. Just want to compare notes.

Jay Clyde take over
I had some real good sleep last night so I will tell you a dream about a new opening on the edge of yorktown and newport news. I walked inside and you could smell the "newness" of the place. Bright colors, wall to wall carpeting, and just being in a super clean place feels exhilarating. Know what I mean? All of this great feeling and excitement came to an end when I saw a familiar face. She was extremely familiar, as I have seen her at the star on Jefferson. So I played dumb, asked questions about the prices, and left. Same rates as star too. I assume the same girl that runs star now owns this new place, which means no one will leave happy. I didn't stay or pay to find out. As usual, YMMV, but in my opinion? Forget about this one and keep going.
I awoke several hours later in a daze.

Bad weekend
Bad weekend for me on AMP, after a long weekend in Atlantic City where I visit a few AMPs there. The ones in Newport News area didn't add up to the ones in Atlantic City. It had been a while sense I have been to any of the AMP's around here. Saw a new one on J. Clyde Morris Blvd (1055 J. Clyde Morris Blvd.) Thought I would give it a try. Big mistact, first lady came out looked older then my mom, second there were no doors on the room just curtains. Massage was OK but on the flip little teasing then stopped time up out the room she went. I thought lesson learn don't go there. Saturday after working in the yard and getting house ready for winter. I was sore so off to Angle SPA I went. To my surprise no was there that I recognize. Went with massage any way, bad deal again cut sort draped the whole time. One of the worst massage I have had in a long time. What has happen, do I need to go to independent or what. Any suggestions?
Popcorn.

Popcorn.
The one on mercury and the BB one both are pretty good. You will get what you went for, as far as how attractive the provider is that is a toss up.

Krista
Finally had a dream about Krista / Kristy in Newport News. The pics on her ad are her, however, they are old. My dream was short and sweet. A BBBJ w / CIM &S was all the dream was about. Overall dream was ok, but she's looking like she's stressed out. Maybe a monkey on her back.
Tried to schedule her when I was driving past the Burg two nights ago. She said that she's no longer in the Burg and needs to take the add down. I couldn't get our schedules to work but she mentioned that she's hosting in YC for a few days.
Seemed pleasant and understanding.
Safe Journeys,
Vinny.
JClyde XS Massage
After a few months of lurking and research, I finally drifted off and had my first dream. I saw this place advertised on CL as new, and being my first time, I would give it a try. It is next to a couple of run down looking stores, but once I walked in, it was very new and clean looking.
As I walked in, there was a very attractive woman behind the reception desk. She asked how long, and I paid. 6 for hour. Was escorted to room, still hoping for receptionist to be the one giving the massage. So I go into small room with door and undress and lay down on table.
In walks my therapist, probably early 40's, face more attractive than body. I didn't get her name, she wasn't very chatty, but neither was I given my first time. She gave a really good massage, and really worked out some knots. Once she was done with back, moved to legs and removed all draping, and continued great massage. Teased the boys some, also went back to my back with hot stones and hot towel treatment (no added charge for any of it).
The flip came and the no draping continued. After a few minutes of torso massage, she asked you want? Pointing to Jr. I said yes, and she said you tip good? So we agreed on. 6 (probably could have gotten lower, but was going to tip. 2 for a good massage anyway).
Got oiled up and was asked if I was close after a minute? I laughed and said no, so she kept going, switching techniques and using two hands. Did do some OTC rubbing and got a smile as a response, but mostly just layed there and let her do her thing. Great ending, and feel like there could be more on menu, but would want to see someone else if I went back there.

Amp
Been reading a lot on the local AMPs ately. I recently visited the one on Warwick. Always had pretty good success there. Now the lady who I believe is the owner wants the tip upfront. Her attitude is definitely changing. Your mileage may vary, however I don't know if I'll be back. Handshakes are the norm there and some roaming is allowed.

J. Clyde visit
There are two new MP's on J. Clyde Morris. I visited the one with Bejiing Massage on the front door this afternoon. It is north of the Interstate in a small shopping center. They had a 90 minute massage with table shower included for $85 so I took that package. My attendant was Anna. She was a fairly cute Chinese woman probably in her early twenties with a slim, trim figure. She looked something like a gymnast with small breasts and a cute little rear end. She spoke fairly good English and was pleasant throughout the visit. The table shower was relaxing but my attendant carefully avoided the areas I most wanted taken care of. Then we went into the massage room. She asked if I wanted hard or gentle and I yelled in pain at one point and then she suggested we change to "medium". The massage itself was pleasant but again she avoided the areas of my greatest interest. After the flip, she made it clear that any action would be DIY. I had left a generous tip on the table and I left it for her but I won't be back. The place is new and the doorbell and phone kept ringing. Apparently a lot of people are trying it for the first time since it is new but I won't go back and I don't recommend it, at least not for the purposes of this website. The rooms have curtains instead of doors and I suspect an older MaMaSan may be monitoring the activity. YMMV of course but I think I took one for the team with this visit.

Take a visit to Star on Jefferson and see if you see the same people working. I think the same owner owns both, which means DIY.

Why?
Now. Take a visit to Star on Jefferson and see if you see the same people working. I think the same owner owns both, which means DIY.
Why ask him to visit another DIY shop? He visited Beijing and found DIY, so why send him to another DIY place just to answer your own question. Why not take the bull by the horn and take your own hit for the team. Star, on Jefferson, since late June has been reported three times in a row as self service.
COI.

I'll do it myself!

COI.
Good observation, COI. I seem to be able to find plenty of DIY places on my own without any help. Actually, I think there were warnings about Beijiing probably being DIY but I didn't understand until later that there are two new AMP's on J. Clyde Morris and then I thought the comments referred to the other one.

Tour de Williamsburg
So, going down 64, got stuck in traffic near Crapital Landing. Decided to finally go try that place on that road, against what several have already said. Waste of time and money. I did get a table instead of one of the 2 mattresses on the floor, but totally no tease or happiness. Decided I still needed relief, so I went over to Monticello. Closed! So I went over to Mawa. One hour wait! So I finished my tour with quick visit at Mclaws. Finally got the relief I was seeking. Get back on 64, stuck in traffic again. When SO gets home, hope she does not ask about how my day went.
