Where can you park near Downtown? I had to park at a meter and it looks like quarters dont get you a lot of time. Taking the metro after the fun is a real mood killer. I would prefer heading out for a good meal after. The 2 hour limit on most meters in the area doesn't help either. This is why 1818 might be a better choice.

I was skeptical of Trashman's contention a few weeks ago that the best AMP in DC is CPHC, even better than my beloved Supra. My primary suspicion revolved around the following: it does not advertise in the local rag and I questioned how it could sustain operations without a steady inflow of new clients. Shit man, would I lie to you? Actually, I never said that CPHC is the best, just one of the best, primarily for it's nice safe location, clean large rooms, and innovative sexual techniques used by the girls I have been with there. That being said, I still like Supra a lot, it's an old favorite where you rarely go wrong. Downtown has some hotties mixed in but that weird building is really creepy for night time visits. That and I'm gettin' too old to climb the stairs at Supra and Downtown. I also like little Accu Fitness on MacArthur Blvd.

Finally busted my SW cherry.
Tuesday night was a good one. Cruised K st b/w 11th 16th at around 11:30. I saw 4 BSWs and not a whole lot of mongers (quite an exception) on my first pass. If anyone watched Channel 7 news last night, they had a special on "Hookers in your neighborhood."
They were mainly highlighting the new system SW's and their Johns are going to be prosecuted beginning on June 1st. Apparantly there will be one judge who will see the case all the way through, instead of the current system where I guess you can get multiple judges and things fall thru the cracks. I believe there is info on www wjla com (chan 7 news page) (search for prostitute on that page, it will link to the story).
They said there are currently 90 arrests per month in the district (I believe that is Johns/SW's combined total) and that in the summer they expect it to go up to 130 arrests per month. I don't know if that is because they are planning a crackdown, or if that's just the summer increase in business.
The area they then highlighted and interview (or attemted to interview) hookers in was Rhode Island Ave. They were showing camera shots of hookers out there during the day.
So, we'll see what happens, but just thought I'd pass the info along.

Quick report for now--first of all, everyone, the place is called Louie's ROGUE, not Louie's Rouge--I was trying to figure out why the heck they would call a bar "red" (since rouge is the French word for red, if you're wondering). Second, TrashMan and others, I didn't see any TV SW's, but I was there at around 2 pm so it wasn't primetime for street action. I can assure you that the dancers in the club are NOT TVs, since they didn't leave anything to the imagination when they were dancing on stage.
I thought the club had a decent atmosphere, especially as a weekday afternoon hangout--mixed customers (I wasn't the only white guy, and not the only guy in a suit!), pretty much all black dancers (but about the same number of dancers as customers, which is always cool!). Girls were extremely high on the skank factor, but whaddya expect! I give it a thumbs up.
