So LE now has not only unmarked cars, but plainclothes walking around the hot spots? I just had to think they must have bought up or rented an apartment or office space close to the hot spots too to keep surveillance in, & you'd never even know of their presence & that they've got you on camera. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I can't help thinking that when you've got these really dead areas with some residential spots close to the hot spots.

What exactly is it that worries you? Cruising around the strolls is not illegal, nor is picking up a young lady. So what if they have you on camera? The only illegal thing is offering a young lady money for sex and her subsequent acceptance of your offer. Unless the cameras can read your lips, there is not a darn thing they can do to you. I've been pulled over a few times immediately after picking up a SW, and after a few words they've always let me go. They had to, no law was broken. And most of the time the SW and I still went and did the date.

Washington State does have a law

I have only heard of one case where the cops use this law against guys. The cops arrested this one guy in Las Vegas during a sting for simply stopping for a decoy on Cops tv show.

I have been stopped by the cops on several occasions for simply talking to a SW. The cops threatened to arrest me, but let me go. The impound law has been overturned in California. So the cops may start using the loitering with intent to solicit as another tool. I have become much more cautious and only stop for SW's that interest me.

(5) The person remains in or near a high risk prostitution area open to the public with the intent of inducing, enticing, soliciting or procuring another to commit prostitution as defined in SCC 10.04.050. Among the circumstances which may be considered in determining whether an actor intends such prohibited conduct are:

(a) That the actor circles a high risk prostitution area and repeatedly beckons to, contacts, or attempts to stop pedestrians; or

(b) That the actor inquires whether a person being induced, solicited, enticed or procured to commit prostitution is a police officer or searches for articles that would identify a police officer or requests the touching of genitals or female breasts or requests exposure of genitals or female breasts with the purpose of establishing that the person is not a police officer.

10.04.090 Public display of sexually explicit material.

A person is guilty of displaying sexually explicit material if he knowingly places such material upon public display, or if he knowingly fails to take prompt action to remove such a display from property in his possession after learning of its existence.

Material is placed upon "public display" if it is placed on or in a billboard, viewing screen, theater marquee, newsstand, display rack, window, showcase, display case or similar place so that sexually explicit material is easily visible from a public thoroughfare or from the property of others.

But, it is perfectly OK for any girl to go out on a date with you, let you pay for movies, food, etc... then decide weather or not you "wowed" her enough for her to go to bed with you!!

Hargow, I am well aware of the intent to soliciate law. I've posted it several times myself. But it doesn't concern me. I will go through it point by point:

a) I am not a known panderer
b) I don't "repeatedly" stop or attempt to stop passersby
c) I don't enquire if a potential prostitution is a cop, nor do I search her for items a cop would have on them.
d) I don't ask a potential prostitute to expose themselves to me.

Basically the intent to soliciate law is used to facilitate an arrest where a John approaches a police decoy. Even if he doesn't ask her how much for sex, his actions like asking her if she is a cop is reason to arrest him. Driving through an area and having a girl get in your car doesn't fit the above parameters.

If you can't see a big difference between a girl who let's some guy ask her out to a movie and a girl who stands on Aurora and gives head to ten strange men that pull over to pick her up, I guess nothing I say will make much sense to you.

If that's the way you feel, perhaps a refresher course in Leykis 101 might help. You don't spend hard-earned money on a woman UNTIL she puts out. I've had some of my best luck scoring with the opposite sex when I've been unemployed and literally had no money to spend on them at all.

It sounds like you went there on a weekday. The Hostess Stroll is kind of dead during the week, though you will find women late at night. Most of the time the action is a couple of blocks away in the Denny Park area. Also, most good looking hookers only last a few minutes at most before someone snags them. Literally there can be five at 10pm and zero five minutes later. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't there. Some of us spend literally hours cruising until we find someone worth picking up.

Crappy weekend, but you play the hand that's dealt you.

Only cruised Pac Hwy once, saw absolutely nothing.

Headed up to DP. Lots of mongers, but only one girl. Cute from a distance, OK up close. Amy, 30s, WSW, black hair, very pale skin, almost but not a goth, looks like Jane Wiedlin. Wanted 45, settled for 30. I was in a generous mood and she was the only one out. Pretty good technique, but not mind-blowing. Would repeat, but would look for other options first.

Later, saw tall, light brown hair, WSW. Unfortunately, my dinner was slicing through my intestines (Thanks, Crab Pot!), so it was strictly browsing. Asked if she was going to be around later, then asked what her name was. She smiled and said, "Suzie."

Holy crap! MY Suzie?! It had been close to a year since I'd seen her. Her hair was significantly longer than our previous meetings. I'd read some posts saying she gained weight, but I had no idea how much. I'd guess 30-40 pounds. She's still a babe, but not the supermodel type she was before. I think she recognized me, but I was so startled, I was caught offguard and acted as if I didn't recognize her. I would have loved to get reacquainted, but circumstances didn't allow that (Thanks again, Crab Pot!). Looked for her later on, but no luck.

Tried to hang with Carmen, but Uncle put the kibosh. I read the negative reports on her, but she was quite pleasant with me; no hint of attitude whatsoever. She looked fantastic, even better than her pics. Uncle sent her on her way and told me to scram. Boo!

Finally, saw a couple of possibles in an area where you would think there might be action, but I'd never seen a whole lot. Good looking blonde standing on a corner. Passed her a few times. We exchanged glances. She was stonefaced. Not a good sign. She wouldn't move off that corner. Also not a good sign. Didn't know what to make of her, except I saw her a few minutes later talking/arguing with her pimp/boyfriend. A little better attitude, and things would have worked out for both of us. Saw a cute Latina in a hoodie soon after. She was stoned, but she was on the move. Unfortunately, I lost her. C'est la vie.

BTW, where is the action on Aurora? I had time to kill, so I drove from Denny across Lake Union up into the 60s before I turned around. I took note of the dive motels just on the other side of the lake, but saw no activity. How far should I go? Please PM me.
