I will be in Vegas in a few week Just wanted to ask about the best Casino's to find CG's to hang with.

Shape, size, color, price point? If you're looking for a thick, obnoxious, BCG you can't help but trip over them anywhere.

I'm here from out of town. Staying at the gold nugget. Got something to eat went into the casino was watching the craps table trying to learn how you play that game. I was approached by a woman about 5 foot 4, blonde hair, decent looking in the face but big as a whale. I have a rule if your stomach is bigger than your boobs I pass. We talked for probably 20 minutes standing on the casino floor. So she suggested that I buy her a drink. Went over to the bar, I started playing video poker and I suggested we go up to the room. I was playing her for a civilian. We got in the room, she asked to use the restroom, she came out and told me she was an entertainer. She told me her entertainment starts at 200 and I busted up laughing, right. In her face. I told her had to go to the cash machine and they wanted to charge me 9 dollars for that and I wasn't paying a service fee when I can get a cash advance for free so she laughed, and I was very happy that she left a. So, anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I sure would appreciate him, and I've read all your forums so I can figure it out myself as well so. Columbus Ohio I had a previous name and lost it and I had nearly 100 entries so if it looks like I'm new I'm really not thank you.

You got to serve your apprenticeship before you become a journeyman. Step 1, read! And soak up all these comments like a sponge.

This is a good list for searching on the strip. I also recommend Cleopatra's barge in Caesars.

I am going to Vegas next weekend and booked a hotel in Rio because I was going with the family and that is where we usually stay. Plans changed and now I am going solo. Are there any CGs in Rio? I look at the previous pages and all of them are hotels on the strip. I'm assuming because Rio is not on the strip there are not a lot of CGs there. Also, if I find a CG on the strip would it be advisable to uber with them to my hotel in Rio or ride the shuttle to Rio with them? Thank you.

-w.[/QUOTE]I think this is what he was looking for. I'm like him, I realize & respect RTFF, but that said, there is so much overlapping of the same general info. Senior members like me don't want to keep giving the same answers & new members don't want to research for an hour to get the info they are looking for. Thanks Wenger for going above & beyond for cutting his research time.

I still consider myself a Vegas novice, but I wouldn't stay at the Rio if I wanted to pursue the CG game.

You've stayed there before with your family, so you probably weren't actively hunting, but did you see any CGs? If I was a CG, I would rather post up around a strip property like NYNY where I have potential customers from multiple properties. You may get a Unicorn at Rio but it will be a case of supply and demand. One thing I've learned reading this forum is that when you get desperate you make mistakes; you end up overpaying or worse.

Then there's the issue of transportation. A CG's time is money. I wouldn't ride the courtesy shuttle or bus with a client. It would take too long. Besides, my last trip I took an elevator ride with a CG with some couple from Idaho or where ever. It was awkward as hell. I couldn't imagine that on a fifteen minute shuttle. You take an Uber and you risk some Bible-thumper, feminist or somebody who won't mind their business. You should expect to spring for a cab both ways and that will cost you.

If it were me, I would cancel my Rio reservation. I've had luck at NYNY but if you like Caesar's proprieties people have success at Flamingo. I'm pretty loyal to MGM properties myself since I play MyVegas on Facebook and earn comps. Got two free nights at NYNY for my next trip.

And if your family asks why you'are not staying at "our hotel" this trip? Tell 'them you wanted to try something different and Rio just had an outbreak of Legionnaire's disease.

Thanks for all the replies. I will try to find a cheaper hotel on the strip but as of right now Rio still beats them on the price. Although the Legionnaires disease contamination is concerning. Worse case scenario if I do stay at Rio, there are other ways to hobby in Vegas and not just CGs.

Stayed there in January of 2016 for the ANM Expo and SHOT shows.

Because the price was right! Beat everybody out during a busy week for Vegas when all the strip properties double or triple their rates.

Did not see a single CG over 6 days. They had several different conventions going so I was very surprised.

Will never stay off strip again. I enjoy the hunt to much.
