She must have been confirmed before this arrest or MPD is playing by their laws as they want to use.

The reason for that is it would be hard to prove you knew it before that test and after that test there is no doubt as it is a matter of the court record.

Essentially, this means that Alexis is aware that she has HIV and still out there hooking regardless. It is sad all the way around, as I expect she probably will continue to work to pay for an addiction, even know that she is risking other peoples' lives. It's mandatory to take an HIV blood test when arrested on prostitution (or related) charges. If the SW is found to have HIV, they are notified and the next time they are arrested they can be charged with Aggravated Prostitution. I believe this applies to Hepatitis as well.

Multiple Aggravated Prostitution charges will result in the person having to register as a sex offender.
