The new law states that if your vehicle is hooked but you get there in time before they go, they have to drop your vehicle at no charge.
When Junko owned that place, yes, you had to have that parking pass because some tow company has a contract with that property.
If they no like drop your vehicle for free call the Police. Do not give the tow driver a hard time because they have like (11) other drivers ready to pounce.

CK[/QUOTE]Bro CK is this a hawaii state law its good to know. I've had my car hooked up a number of times with me standing there and the tow truck driver had me by the balls. Had to pay the hook up fees or get my car towed. The last time was the parking lot next to exotic nights.

CK[/QUOTE]You're right. Although it is not specifically dated, here is part of 290-11 supposedly from 12/2011, that tow companies shall:
"Charge not more than $65 for a tow, or $75 for a tow using a dolly, plus a mileage charge of $7. 50 per mile towed and $25 per day or fraction thereof for storage for the first seven days and $20 per day thereafter. When the tow occurs between the hours of six o'clock pm and six o'clock a. M, from Monday through Thursday and from six o'clock pm Friday to six o'clock a. M. Monday, the towing company shall be entitled to an overtime charge of $15. If the vehicle is in the process of being hooked up or is hooked up to the tow truck and the owner appears on the scene, the towing company shall unhook the vehicle and shall not charge any fee to the owner of the vehicle. In the case of a difficult hookup, meaning an above or below ground hookup in a multilevel facility, a towing surcharge of $30 shall be applicable."
Companies should have briefed all their drivers beforehand to avoid snags.
Leaving Blazing Steaks downtown after stuffing my face, I see who else but Junko walking down Fort Street Mall in a cute pink dress. She is carrying little bags from stores. Later in the day I ring her up and set up an appointment. There will be sometime to kill afterwork. I walk to 24 HF downtown and do a back session of pull downs and cable rows. The young gorillas intimidate me, making me feel old and weak, but I don't care. It is no excuse for me not to make an effort. Got to time it right. Have some time to rest before taking the pill. If they give you shit, tell 'them it's being "live streamed" so even if they took your phone and smashed it, the evidence is already uploaded. There are apps for that I believe. We live in a digital age, so we might as well take advantage of it.
