Regardless of the time of year, Vegas is always busy and there is always $$ to be made. I don't know where the misconception that there are no conventions during the summer comes from, there are several with more than 10 k attendees during the summer months.

I took a girl up to my room once when she didn't discuss anything outside the room. When in the room the upsell was horrible I told her to leave and she wouldn't. I picked up the phone and called security and told them what was happening. They laugh and said they would be right up.
