Not much out this weekend
Spent some time cruising this weekend. It hasn't been this quiet out there in a while.
Friday night was dead. Cruised the whole stroll from Mile Stretch to Bolton, a few times. Didn't see much at all, other than a lot of LEO. Saw a girl walking north from Walmart towards Skinny's. Small girl, short pixie like reddish (I think) hair. She stopped and chatted with a dude on a bicycle for a while. I looped around twice, but LEO was parked RIGHT across from Skinny's, and he was soon joined by two more cruisers. After noticing flashing lights as far south on 19 as I could see, I bolted out of there. Was able to catch up with Sammy who was up in Hudson. Seems her and Twin Heather are now staying up that way, at least somewhat temporarily. One of the main trap houses in Holiday looks to be out of commission, so these girls are having to find other places to stay. What used to be a pretty good area (Moog) might be dying down rather quickly.
Saturday spent time cruising on and off, day and night. Didn't cruise a ton, but in my time the only girl I saw out there was tall Gina, around 4 pm, at the convenience store that's just south of Skinny's. She was sitting at the corner of the store. I rolled by slowly but she never looked up from her phone. Other than her, the day was dead. Saturday night took a few passes and didn't see much at all. I noticed a girl in a dress and a hoodie (strange combo, but I think that was the outfit) on the opposite side of 19 to Skinny's. Then saw who I believe was Bobbi at the Star. Nothing else at all out there.
The only girl I saw on the way out of town today was the super thin brunette I had got a picture of a few weeks ago when she was in front of Skinny's. Today she was walking from the Star. That was it from Gulf to Bolton.
Some girls seem to be more reachable by phone, but they're not out there walking. The ones that are reachable are their usual selves at only randomly responding. Over the past few weeks a few of our NPR regulars went bye-bye to the Hilton, so that's at least affecting the volume, even if they're some we might not be trying to scoop.
Hope others are having some better luck.
Stay safe.
