My experience is the exact opposite, I am pickier than I was before. I know that I can head down to the loop and get a quickie release pretty much 24/7 from a 4 or 5, it's those diamonds in the rough that keeps things interesting for me. PAP[/QUOTE]The reason is cost.On Ebay you can usually buy a 60 minute Spoofcard for around five dollars and that figures at about eight cents a minute where as a discounted rate on Nightline usually costs you about twelve cents a minute.

I know little more than you do about chatlines in general and was grateful for all the recent postings telling about it too. From what i read, some of the chat lines offer free trials and free minutes for new customers. These are tracked by caller ID information so you cannot just reapply forever for free minutes. I think the spoof card fools the caller Id so you can keep signing up to get free minutes over and over again. (Someone correct me if I am wrong on this.)

Spoofing is $80 for 480 minutes or roughly 16.6 cents per minute. The only downside I see with that is it only works on outgoing calls, you can't give a girl a spoofed number to call you.

If you want to get technical you could buy a $50 VM minute package and bring your minute price down to about 5 cents a minute plus you could probably get em cheaper on Ebay too.

Lets assume for the sake of argument that the per minute cost is equal for each approach, the ability to receive incoming calls on a temporary - anonymous number is huge. Can't tell you the number of messages I have gotten on the phones with great deals because they are in a monetary bind.
