I go through the DP stroll at least twice a day and it's definitely not dead. It's often empty but there are girls there here and there. I think about the same in the last 4 months. I'm chalking it up to winter.

Definitely not the mayor - I don't think he cares at all. Vice isn't a priority in the city - the team itself was disbanded. SPD gets complaints, they do stings, they report back to the community, and everything goes back to normal. Same thing happened at Hoverpass a couple of years ago, Aurora at times. SPD does as little as they can to sate the surrounding community - after all they are quite aware that stings on Dexter means fewer cops in the U District or Rainier Valley to stave off violent crime.

In the last 2 weeks I've seen Carmen once, Risa once, Special twice, Alison once, Nikki about 5 times (she's out alot right now). Saw Suzi about 4 weeks ago and Chloe a couple of times by the Hoverpass. Hoverpass definitely more active at the moment.

Spent significant time on the strolls on Monday Night.

Saw several SWs. Most on Aurora between 86th and 145th. Most that would not leave the stroll and I will not pick up on Aurora.

None in Hostess. Did not really look at AAA.

Went around the block for one girl and waited up the hill for her. As she came to the bottom on the street at Aurora a monger pulled a U-Turn right in front of her and tried to pick her up. She intelligently went on by. (The mongers that pull stupid traffic tricks and honk and try to pick up right on the main stroll are what bring attention by LE and all mongers. Please have a bit of discretion).

Anyway, after he drove off I flashed my lights and she saw and started up my way. As I said it was a bit up the side street. She got about 1/3 of the way there an LE stopped in the middle of Aurora and watched her go up the hill. (that monger just missed having his day changed significantly). My lights had been off and I was almost at the top of the hill. I thought man he is going to come up here this might be a hassle. Before she reached me he sped off. I did not know if he was going around the block or had something else to do. She went on by and I waited a while and left the area.

Too much Leo on the streets.

Wednesday night was a good night on the strolls as well. I only cruised the Oak Tree area and saw about 5 between 85th and Northgate Way. Picked up a young H user by the name of Jen, definitely a lot of fun.

This was accidently put on as a new thread instead of here awhile back. Coincidentally it reminded me that this chunky girl with the hoops was one of the other girls I saw Sunday. Was very pleased finding this site. Recently moved up from NorCal and missing the Tenderloin and International strolls of the Bay Area.

Just found the site so I don't have much to report. Did a quick couple of laps at AAA and Hostess today. Very quiet but I did see one hottie that looked to be working. At any rate, she was "waiting for the bus" about 100 yds down from the DP bus stop. She was very attractive and it was early so maybe she was just waiting for the bus. Also, my hodar is a bit skewed right now because I haven't adjusted from the Cali scene. For a number of reasons, after a long time off the street scene, I've been observing the North Stroll (85th to 145th), mostly just looking.

Not that much has changed as far as locations, though the Oaktree area has revived. Way more going on in the 90th - 100th blocks than in years past. The extreme north end is mostly unused.

Police were very active tonight. A pullover at 125th, then an incident at an apartment around 95th--both involving 3 to 4 cruisers. I've noticed too, when the LEOs spot an obvious SW, they lie in wait around the corner. So--be very cautious and always reconnoiter the perimeter.

The SW count tonight was 12 confirmed, most looking pretty tough.

At 41st and Aurora, maybe it's 40th, there is a pedestrian overpass. Hookers used to stand in the entrance and get picked up from there, hence the name. But the overpass has been dead as of late, most of the girls working a couple/3 blocks north of it, usually more often than not on the westside of Aurora.

The LSW might have been Alexis, though she hasn't been too active lately, she tends to work up in that area. She would have been a good pickup.

Took a look last Sunday seen many girls from 85th to 125th area also saw lots of le north of there.

I've been asked by few to say what the best prepaid phone out there is, so I decided share this with you. Now, I made my purchase decision few years back and I was planning to write this yesterday but I decided to do some research before I delve into my decision. I've updated my chart with current fees and it’s good to know that my decision has held up all this time.

Of course, I have my regular wireless line but I have a prepaid phone for extracurricular activities. Since I only use SW as a stopgap solution between girlfriends, sometimes it might be months or years before I need to utilize it. So the minimum cost of up keeping the phone is priority one. I usually text more then I use minutes, so the cheap text messaging rate is important and finally the quality of the phone company i.e. dropped calls, quality of voice, customer service, etc.

My criteria is:
1) Lowest TCO to own
2) Cheapest text messaging rates
3) Quality of the company

The prepaid services available are Verizon Prepaid, T-Mobile Prepaid, AT&T Prepaid, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Net10 and TracFone. Now there are two ways buy prepaid. Pay by the Day or Pay as You Go. I don't use enough minutes or send enough text in one day to make Pay by the Day cost effective for me. So these prices reflect Pay as You Go plans only.

1) Lowest TCO (least amount you have to spend to keep the line in service per year)
Verizon: $15/30 days, $30/90 days, $75/180 days and [i]$100/1 Year[/i] = [b]$100/year[/b]
T-Mobile: $10/90 days = [b]$40/year[/b] -- after Gold Rewards its only [b]$10/year[/b]!
AT&T: $15/30 days, $25/90 days, [i]$100/year[/i] = [b]$100/year[/b]
Boost: $25/90 days = [b]$100/year[/b]
Virgin: $20/90 days = [b]$80/year[/b]
Net10: $20/30 days, $30/60 days, [i]$45/90 days[/i], $100/180 days, $200/year = [b]$180/year[/b]

2) Text messaging cost
Verizon: 20¢/message
T-Mobile: 10¢/message to send, 5¢/message to receive
AT&T: 20¢/message to send/receive
T-Mobile: 10¢/message to send/receive
Virgin: 15¢/message to send/receive
Net10: 5¢/message to send/receive
TracFone: Depends on your phone, they use "units"

3) Quality of the company
Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T own their network and they are pretty solid overall, you can go to anyone of the kiosk and/or store and iron out any problems you might have. Boost and Virgin uses Sprint network and they can be spotty depending on your location. And Sprint stores do not give support to these services, so you pretty much need to stick with a kiosk or call their 800 number. TracFone, which owns Net10, leases their network from somebody and is my opinion the worst of the bunch. I've never seen their kiosk of any kind and you pretty much need to call their number for customer support. I'm a little biased towards TracFone as I've used them in the past and did not have a very good experiences with them.

As a rule, more minutes you buy, cheaper the rate of the call. Except for Net10, it's always 10¢/minute but you have to spend at least $180/year to get that rate. Usually if you buy the minimum, it's around 30$/minute but you can get that down to 10¢/minute. None of these plans have activation fees or any other fees associated with regular wireless phones. I didn't include the cost of the phone as you can spend as much as you want but the cheapest one I can find was a TracFone for $10.

Suffices to say, for my needs, T-Mobile is the best prepaid phone for me. After you reach Gold Rewards (you need to spend $100) you can keep your phone for little as $10/year. This works out great for me as I often turn off my phone months at a time. I know I couldn’t remember to refill every 30 or 90 days. Along with the cheapest text message rates and great T-Mobile service, it's a slam dunk for me.

Prepaid plans are very complicated to figure out sometimes, I hope this helped.

Nostalgic, welcome to Seattle. I hope this helps you out along with any other Seattle noobs out there. Every now and then, there is a request for someone to draw maps or write complete synopses of the local scene (ya, I’m talking to you Humpty Dumpty), but that’s not what you really need. You need knowledge and experience to help you avoid the pitfalls. Only way you can do this is to do your homework.

There are reports from 2000 to 2006. That’s 6 years of reports on every nook and cranny of the Seattle scene. Only difference between the archives and recent reports are name of girls. KK, Denny, AAA, Oaktree is exactly on the same streets. The reason I made you go to the archives is that all the images, ads, etc are stripped away and only text remains. Also there are about 100 posts per page. It makes it easier to save it on your computer. That way when you are on the plane you can read it all. Since there are no images or popups, you will not be embarrassed to open it in public. I guarantee that you’ll know more about Seattle than 80% of guys here.

When I was negotiating with her, I asked how much an hour would be (habit of mine, some times they just add 20 bucks for the entire hour, its happened once or twice). Anyway, she asked if I wanted to go to the tubs. I had heard of the tubs but have never been there.

Question for the board members: do you use the tubs? Are they ok? Anyting to worry about? pro's? Cons?

If the Tubs are ok, is there a tubs near the Oaktree (where I usually monger) or up in the lynnwood or everett area?

I would add that it is a good idea to switch out your phone every year or even 6 months if you are really active. This way if a SW gets her phone taken from her by LEO and they dial you, you have a chance that they are going to get a dead number and even if they do get through to you, it is just a toss away phone. For me I go back and forth between Virgina and TracFon. I always buy the cheapist handset, with $20 of minutes. Hi. Sometimes the tubs are great. however if the water is too hot and many of the tub places have no real place to sit and relax some. Maybe a tile bench which gets hard and cold to have sex on. The open air tubs this time of year are cold out . The water splashing makes it really hard to enjoy the place. I have had a few good dates at the tubs. They put new water in after each use. However I really like comfortable beds and nice places. The Amps are the way to go ususally as you can get a table shower . nice massage and if you are good looking enough you can get some nice service. Its all about selling your self and making the girl think she is safe giving you the right kind of treatment. I have seen a few House or Apartment girls who just do massages. Its also fun to just fondle or finger a hot girl and let her play with you as you lay there. After all. Sometimes I get lazy and want a girl to do all the work. Spokane is the hottest for AMps. I have had some great service there. Its worth the drive .

Had to wait for a friend to get off work yesterday near Oaktree. i couldn't believe how many SW's there were. Drove from the bike shop to 145th and saw no less than 20 in an hour. Waiting in the parking lot of oaktree I was approached twice, but got the nod at least 5 times. Reminiscent of the 90's. Is it the economy or drug boom. I'd say the latter mainly, because even the 2 drop dead gorgeous babes I dated this past week were both oxy addicts. Apparently oxy doesn't take as big a toll on their looks as crack.

I heard and have seen firsthand the oxy withdrawls though. It's terrible, they say it's worse that tar withdrawls because of it's synthetic nature.
