The one common thing they mention in their news releases is the advertsiement on specific online sites in which BP and CL have been mentioned.
A case in Burlington they actually reported using an officer to take calls from clients to book sessions and as they arrived were arrested.

While the primary focus might be on drug related activity don't be fooled that they don't have the capability and ability to gather info on someone.
You really think they couldn't create their own ad to gather info? Or that LEO wouldn't lie to get the John's exposure? You really think that LEO can't use the powers of a court order to gain info from any online site or phone?
Proof? Contact any of the ones that were arrested if you know any and ask questions. You can learn.

The Burlington and Woburn police have set up stings in hotels from time to time. It has been implied that they posted on CL. I can't prove it but either way I agree that although far and few between there are real girls behind some adds on CL CE postings. Maybe the link has been posted, but only a few weeks ago it was admitted to by LEO. They posted ads looking to trade sex for drugs. It's done all the time. There was discussion here about it.
