Does anyone know if the short stays are a different price at the shoreline at night?

It's been a few years, but last I knew they stopped doing short stays at like 5 or 6pm and only did overnights afterwards. It was like $45 at the time. Like I said, it was a few years ago.

The girl I was with went in and the guy flat out told her he had no rooms. Crap! But I actually wondered if it was because he didn't want a girl getting a short stay knowing what was up? (I still think I'm right about that) Any way off we go looking for a SS and can't find a damn thing. I use the shoreline all the time during the day with no qualms. You can't beat it. So I say to my friend. Hang out where he doesn't see you in the car and I'm going in. So she agreed and we head back. I park and go in and ask the guy for a short stay. He says, that is only day time. At! So I asked what's the regular room rate? He said I have one room left for 58. I countered with 50. It's actually what I had on me. Nope, he says. I said. Really? I have it right here, No for 8 bucks? Really? Yep 8 bucks he says. All right, so I go to the car and grab more cash. Why not I'm here and she is the sweetest thing. And I hand over 60. He says. Driver's license please. WHAT! Never have they asked for it. I said it's in the car. So he looks at me. I said. You know what. Give me my cash. He did and I walked out. Really, you want to turn that down when you had money in your hand? I seriously don't get it. He could care less too. So fellas. No short stays at night at the Shoreline and they want I'd. Go figure. It was a happy ending with me and my girl though. No details on that she is UTR. But thanks for the responses guys.

I guess they know what they are doing. The same people have been running it for at least 15 years, apparently uneventfully. During the day there's always a girl in the back cleaning rooms, and keeping a good eye out on what's going on. I was there once with a girl who was on her period and we made a bit of a mess-we cleaned up but left the bed pretty wet. The next time I was there more than a month later the old guy chided me about it.

I'm not surprised that they only had one overnight room left. There are still lots of people in Milford getting over the flooding.

I only saw a few guys, because we checked in late. My friend saw no one. What we were guessing is that the hotel staff and security looks at backpage? Two security guards came to her door and asked her to leave, then came to my door and told me the same thing. Gave us both half an hour to leave or they were going to call the police. They did not say why, but my strong suspicion is the ads. If anyone wants to know which hotel in New Haven is hot, feel free to pm me.
