Peter Rammer mentioned them as Adverse Childhold Experiences (ACE) and this is the adult that is produced. They can't handle day to day life, can't keep a regular job as simple as waitress, get themselves a criminal record and turn to this lifestyle for financial support. As most regular guys don't want a criminal, drug using, psychotic girlfriend they wind up with men who are disturbed like them, which leads to domestic violence.
