Prostitution, as it is in most other parts of the world, should be legalized. These beautiful women should be allowed to offer their services at market rate.

But you know this isn't going to happen because power longs for more power and we currently have a police system that is out of control. This is merely one spoke in the wheel, that all ties together. Another key spoke is drugs. If both would be legalized so many of the problems these women have to deal with would disappear.

Under the current system it is a never ending downward spiral for these women. They get busted, then they have a record, then they can't get a job, which only forces them back into the business.

As to "don't feed the animals" approach, how does that solve anything, other than to clear your conscience? The analogy should be to abortion. Nobody WANTS to do it but sometimes it is necessary. Making it illegal only drives it into back alleys where worse damage can and will be done. Legalize it all, put in some restrictions, as to where these activities can take place and let the chips fall where they will. That is the best shot many of these women will ever have.

The best advice I have read below is if your conscience is really bothering you when you see one of these gals, who are in obvious need of food / money, either take them to a fast food restaurant or give them some money, and be on your way. You can still help, even if your conscience won't allow you to participate. We already have WAY too many preachers in the world. Do something that truly, immediately makes a difference, if only for another day.

I'm sorry, I don't have anyone else to tell this to. Not my wife, children, friends, coworkers, or pastors. Just you guys. I'm sure someone is going to blow me up over this so go ahead. I'm ready for it. Feel free to PM me too. Seeing her eyes and face tonight got to me. They were the eyes and face of someone who didn't want to be there doing what she was doing. And reading about people we see and review on here dying because of an OD. I don't know man, What am I doing?

1) First, stop picking up SWs. Cold turkey. This is just the opinion of one guy here, but that scene is way, far too risky anymore and has been for some time. I dabbled in the SW scene here back in the '90's, but LE started to really crack down on the SW scene here about 20 years ago when Main St. Became the en vogue place, and that's about the time I quit doing it. I would do some window shopping periodically after that, but that was about as far as it went and I don't even window shop anymore. And really, why would I, when I at least have the benefit of the internet now? Both then and now, the SW scene has chicks whose problems are severe & that will never change.

2) If you need to engage in the hobby anyway, then at least deal with escorts in hotels or working out of private residences. True, sometimes, these chicks are just a step or two removed from the SW scene, but at least your odds of having to deal with LE (and maybe even STDs, though perhaps that's wishful thinking on my part) are a bit less here.

3) I can't seem to stop either. I go through a lot of burner phones because I "quit. " Sometime for a while, sometimes not. But especially at this time of year when women in everyday life are showing more skin, I somehow end up in a motel room or a crappy apartment with a tattooed, shaved college age woman.

4) Maybe you need to cool it on how much you're doing for others. You can't save others, whether they're providers or Joe Schmo. Who are you really doing it for anyway? If you're going to do charity work, then do something that helps other dudes so there isn't that mixed motive there.

I don't want to haggle. If I think a girl is worth it, I don't mind paying higher amounts and leaving a good tip. The reason I do that is because I want them enthusiastic about replying to my text and setting something up. This is pretty much standard in any service industry.

Has anyone else noticed that websites of some of our favorite "courtesans" have been cock blocked? I will name a few. Tori and Vixen Star. They used to be free to see picture galleries. Now I have to pay $24.95 for a monthly membership. Umm. No thanks. Somehow EE gets around it through a tab that has "models". No way will I pay to see blurred faces and "R" rated pics.

What you don't find from one you can find from another. Dollars pay bills, buys food, clothing, sends kids to school, pays car payments and rent. It's hard not to have compassion, at least for some of us, but you've also got to remember that 1) providers are often very good at sensing who they can play and do so relentlessly; 2) by giving them extra help you're most likely to just make it easier for them to buy drugs. Believe me, I've been there, done that. There are providers who've gotten out of the life, I know. I hope permanently. I don't know of any cases where the intervention of a hobbyist caused this to happen. It happened because they made a firm decision to do so, got help and showed the personal fortitude to make things work -- generally with the help of a program, religion, whatever works for them. Not to say you should be cold hearted about it and never help alleviate some short-term suffering, but your odds of doing something to "save" a provider are exceedingly low until she truly decides to save herself.

Whether or not an individual gives them money they will find it. How many of the girls have evened up stealing or worse when their business dries up.
