TO my understanding when a daytime bartenender give foods that is from her own pocket. So she has the right to gie customer her food or house food. Hey If I was the bartenender and I KNOW the guys is a CHEAP CHARLIE I wouldn't give him the food that I bought. I would just give him the house food if there was any. Hey its a tought world and the bartenended has the right to who they want to give there food to. Since they paid for it. RRight now its is so rough on the girls Even "Olivia" from Moon flower don't give good food any more. I guess its slow so the barteneder are msart and the custoemr are smart to. The customers think they can just get a free dinner with no tip. The bartendeds know who the cheap guys are.

I notice ever since the new makeover to USG, the posts have not been as much as before. Plus, the barscene is jut the same old same old. Nothing much to write about unless something interesting goes down.

The hostess bar scene & strip bar scene will never be the same as how it was years ago. Fortunately, at the least the AMPs is still doing good though.

I've spread some $ around Camelot the past few weeks and haven't gotten anywhere really. Even bought champagne for a couple of girls in the back but nothing more than lapdance and some FIV and titty sucking. Janice was one and another was Mini I think. Can't remember the third one's name but she was pretty hot (heck they're all pretty dam hot. Am I barking up the wrong tree or do I need more game or just more $. Been to Evergreen a little and Pharoah but not much time and money at those places.

You can usually tell if they were or were not. I was there and saw the commotion this weekend. This is not the first time she has pissed off a customer or had a run-in. She has serious issues as far as customer service goes. If I were the boss (mama) I would shit can her really fast. Pharaoh is already not the most happening KB. What little they do have as far as loyal customers go will soon be gone if she isn't, me included.

While bartending at Eve (just before moving to Pharaoh) she remarked that if Pharaoh did not give the schedule that she demanded then she would not transfer.

She already got kicked out of T-Time, was crappy at Eve, and now in great demand? Even said that she was one of the better, if not the best, bartenders. Best at what?

No appreciation and respect for customers and the opportunity to make a living at someone else's shop despite being of her age, appearance, and attitude.

Splash busy during and after UH game due in part to new mgr. there, local guy. He's trying to train the KBarbarians in the local style of 'please' & 'thank you'; instilling basic manners taught to our infants.

Splash is wide-open to gain market share of KBCustomers if they follow this business model because of obvious customer service deficiencies at all other KBs (good for him; I hope it works). I guess someone finally caught the hint and is implementing 'the basics'.

But for others, $500 or 1K is no object. I won't pry into your business but I'm thinking if one only spent 300 at Camelot, which seems to be standard at other KBs, the girls may regard it as a drop in the bucket.

Aflack is right, plus girls are YMMV, so only you can determine if you want to keep spending or change venues.

[/QUOTE]How is the "bartended" (sic) supposed to know who is a tightwad, if that is his first visit to her bar? She got to take a chance and see what kind of tip she gets. In the kb I frequent, I am known as a cheap charlie, because I don't buy ho's drinks. But the bartenders always break out the good pupus and food, because they know I'll leave them a good tip.

Trying to figure out is it recession, the new format, or mongers holding out? I suspect it is all 3. Last 2-3 weeks I hit D'amour, Pharaoh, Maya's, Camelot, Hanabi and Splash. Some places have been pretty busy, so guys are holding out!

D'amour has some decent eye candy but I don't like the lay out. Seems cramped and you see everybody or everybody sees you when you go to the bathroom, leave for a smoke break, etc. Yujin is still there and seems pretty busy so she is a pro and has built up her stable of customers pretty quick. I have not been back to try to play with her but my sources tell me it is possible. I think I would like to play tag team with her and Angel.

Pharaoh is dead as usual and there is not to much to look at. Ji Young (bartender) is a turn off but the younger bartender Yuri is pretty cute. Wouldn't mind getting to "know" her better. Any info would be great if you guys have. Other than that seems to be a lot of recycled girls. Not as bad as Kalihi but nowhere near the rest of the Koreamoku area.

Maya's has been unusually busy as of late and this after going through a small slump. There are a few new girls and of course the usual all-stars, such as Sue, Shinee, Vicki, etc. I would rate Maya's as top 3 IMHO. They used to be #1 but like I said, hit a slump. These things go in cycles. For example, Butterfly used to be awesome but fell faster than a company's stock after a hostile takeover and bankruptcy announcement.

Camelot has to be the No.1 overall place right now or at least in the top 3. Best selection of hot and young girls at the moment. Place is always packed and even if I am not in the mood to monger I sit at the bar and have a great view of the couches. It is like a scene from Rush Hour when the girls are sitting there with their legs crossed in those short dresses with plenty of cleavage. Good thing the bar is higher than the couches. Or actually, do I wish it were lower for when the uncross their legs? Lilly is super hot (model-like) and a pretty cool chick. I think she must be from LA / Cali. She is definitely not a FOB as she has perfect English and no accent. I bought her a couple of drinks last week but her and her friend were swept away to a room by some Korean or Japanese guys. Saw the waiter taking bottles (yes bottles plural) of champagne so figured I had no shot whatsoever that night and left.

Hanabi is cramped and dirty. Seriously, pay someone to clean the place up a little bit. This place seems to have retreads from other bars. Some girls that mama brought over with her from Splash and a few others. Mama is cool and bartenders are cool so I will continue going even though the girls are less than stellar as good customer service goes a long, long way.

Last though certainly not least is Splash. It also is in my top 3. It is close to being tied with Camelot. It is bigger but I just like the layout at Camelot better. Plenty of choice when it comes to hot girls, both younger and older (but not to old. Someone had mentioned Yura the Korean / Japanese mix spinner. She has an awesome body but only a cute face IMHO. As I a had mentioned my buddy likes her a lot and has spent some decent money on her but no play so far. Well, at least none that he has reported to me. I don't think he would hold out on me. Mama there is also super cool and most of the bartenders are as well. They have the best attitudes there and are actually customer service oriented as all KB's should be. "Be nice to us and we will be nice to you", is my theory. So decent mix of girls plus good attitude means good business. Jin or Ji In or whatever is always cool to sit with. Hints of play but I have not really put forth any effort as of yet as I got too many fish to fry right now. Trying to keep up with them all is not so easy for us older guys!

KBGs holdout for the play until they get the price they want. Their egos also dictate that the guy (s) they're with have looks, status, etc, just for the sake of competition and their 'prowess' in the bar for luring men (bragging rights; they love to brag.

Just be patient because the second mouse gets the cheese without 'paying the price'. Have always let the KBGs show their interest in moi first and then take it from there, realizing that there will be some cost involved. That cost (amount) is determined by you and the KBG; it is an unspoken amount that both parties are agreeable to without saying anything. Make sense? It's a cultural thing.

Oh, BTW, they're not only fooling around you. It's about residual income from as many sources as possible; something like insurance sales.

The thing about that place is that there are some guys who would splurge and not get play. I guess some of them are just happy and excited to be with a pretty women and that they're not really concerned about the amount of money they spending. The main thing they having a good time. Some keep trying and trying in hopes that eventually she will play. Sure, one can say he spending too much but, you can't tell him to just go to another KB with older women who's less attractive and expect that he will get excited and enjoy himself. Most of the girls I would say don't put out at Camels. The girls there aren't aggressive where she will put her hand on your d1ck and start stroking you at the booth. The hotter the chick is, the less likely she would play. Or, they like to keep teasing so you do spend more because she knows she can do it since other guys have spent alot on her already. The girls at Camels don't need to resort to offering play when they feel they can get by without offering it. If she does put out, she'll be selective on who to do it with. Thus, the saying, YMMV.

She prepares food at home and takes it to work for her regulars and the good tippers If it's a first-time customer and a good tipper, she'll feed him on his next visit.

The problem is that the girls don't know you, many will just try to take as much $ before you catch on. You've only been spreading the money the past few weeks, to many girls you could be LE, you're lucky you got any action. LE is always a problem so if you are a newbie and / or are just recently spreading the $ around you could be classified as high risk. For the girl to really open up you need to be someone they trust, someone that other girls can vouch for. You haven't visited the bar enough for them to trust you. LE goes to bars sometimes over a 3 month period to get the girl's trust before they bust them so you could be in for a long wait until you get significant action (unless you spread thousands around.

Also, many of the k girls from Cali may not offer significant services, the cute ones think they are above play. But that's JMHO.
