She is is extremely cautious and careful in regards to COVID and was sort of a neat freak and picky even before COVID hit, thus she is probably only seeing folks that she had seen before and trusts. At least that is what I assume based on my communication with her a couple of weeks ago.

Leaving your phones at home and getting a new phone with a new number without logging into any apps and existing emails won't work.
Once they know your phone number, they have a way to hijack the data traffic of your phone and watch every single thing on your phone because their friend who works at one of those carriers, for example, Verizon will look you up your new account easily.
Police won't help because they can't pinpoint these people or can't make a case because there isn't actual loss.

It's best not to share your or your loved ones' phone number with them unless you want to be in Trueman Show. Do not PM no one's phone numbers if cared.
