If you look on a map you will see a "triangle" formed from 28th St and starting at 50th Ave and up to 62nd Ave and, down Haines Rd to 50th Ave and back to 28th St and. Also on 33rd St and between 38th Ave and and 30th Ave and and 35 thSt from 1st Ave and to 5th Ave and. The "triangle" area is pretty hot with police so be careful I usually go by and swing back around couple times to try and be sure noones watching. And the other 2 areas have been getting alot more police presence lately. Also haven't seen very many SW out the past month or 2. The police won't really mess with you unless that see you picking one up or riding with windows down calling them out.

They can't keep your property, they can fine you for towing and storage which is total BS but have to give it back. I went through this in Chicago, they do this all the time there, it's big business now, they make a lot of money illegally impounding cars from men who they claim solicited SW's, they had to give me my money back after a hearing, the cop lied through his teeth BTW but I had a lawyer and he knew what to do, they cops are so damn dirty.

There is no law against picking up a girl. The only time you will get arrested is if you are stupid and confess you were picking up a girl for prostitution. They take cars all the time for alleged drug busts and prostitution even if they can't make it stick. It's a civil forfeiture, you don't have 5th amendment protection when you go into court. If you don't have a decent attorney, forget about getting your property back. St Petersburg is notorious for this.

It was also in Chicago where I was pulled over late at night another time, and they told me the reason they pulled me over was "for being a white guy in a black neighborhood". Picking up a girl isn't probable cause.

By the way, Florida has one of the best protections against illicit LE impounding, went into effect in 2016. In order to impound your car, you must be arrested first. Then the police need to issue a bond for the car. If you are found innocent, or charges dropped, they must return your property.

Bottom line, follow the advice on forum, don't get arrested in the first place!

Lealman is not incorporated into St. Pete and only has county mounties (showing my age here). IMO they show very little interest in the minimart area though they are a visible presence (duh there is a school within 300 m). You'll almost always see PC Sheriffs around when school lets out.

As for 34th. They spend most of their time on accidents, moving the homeless away from active businesses, breaking up altercations between belligerent indigents and the chemically altered. I've watched St. Pete's finest drive right by a scoop by a monger pulling a you-turn and very aggresive SWs. My guess would be the few that they stop have outstanding warrents that they know about or the monger broke a traffic law. Plus LE responds to every MedCu call and fire / rescue call as near as I can tell.

They probably only "come down" on "the problem" when someone in the area complains. This is my opinion based on old friends who are retired LE.

I drive Haines and 34th every day now that I live in the area.

However today two passes about the same time had no sightings.

I think you guys just I'd the woman I've seen on 34th St. Between 5 Ave N and 17th Ave N. Always dressed well, big sunglasses and a hat. Walks rapidly with the traffic south bound. Eye contact is minimal unless you catch her at a crosswalk or exit from a business. She always gets scooped almost immediately when I see her.

Some of you must know her because I've been blocked out twice when I've seen her. Lets just say your driving was a tad aggressive.

Saw the blonde today walking from Speedway with the two dudes and an older lady. They appear to have a room at the Candlelight. She shows no interest, saw several try to pick her up today.
