I went to the doctor for the first time in about 5-6 years several months ago and found out all kinds of shit. I would heartily (excuse the pun) recommend the CPAP. As a heavier monger, and older, it has saved my life. I had a sleep study, they came in a panic in the middle of the night to pump me full of O2, my oxygenation was like 35, they thought I was going to stroke out on them right then. I used to have terrible reflux at night, as well as other issues, CPAP changed all that. In testing after, they found I had all ready hard a small stroke years ago. They could see it on the MRI, old though, but scary enough. I've been using my mine for 20+ years now. I could never sleep with out it again, carry one on my Harley when I travel, have one in my toy hauler, any chance that I might be invited to stay the night with a honey, have a travel one as well. White noise, good oxygenation, life is much better now. Just my 2 cents as it is an important issue. It takes a few days to get used to it, especially at the pressure I needed but it turned out to be a godsend. Good luck.
