I stopped going to YS years back - most of the time in YS the cover and the dance prices match a CL Girl Price.
Showgirls is a blast, relaxed, minimal cover of 5 bucks, the drinks are priced good and the girls are very friendly.

Its about 6:30am Saturday morning and I am heading for the coast to do some fishing (yes really - fishing for fish) when my fishing buddy calls and says he has the flue, so I think maybe Mandy will want to go. So I give her a call and see if she was up for a boat ride.

I don't think that it is a 'door' like there use to be on the Red Room at the old Gold Rush on S.R. 60. I believe that it is just a very heavy piece of cloth material. While you can not see through it, it does not offer the security of a locked door. At least that is how I remember it form a while back. I have only visited the special VIP room once and the dances that I got there were no better than you get in the normal VIP rooms in the club.
But, things may have changed there, who knows!

Day shift talent is not nearly up to the levels it use to be at. You could usually count on a couple of real hotties working during the day but not any more.

A couple day shifters have migrated to night. Stopped in Monday night. Had a couple dances with Carmen, a former day shifter, and Kitty another former day shifter (and the reason I actually stopped in). Carmen gave a nice dance but strictly dance. Kitty's more liberal at nights than she ever was days (though it can be a YMMV since we'd built up a little bit of a history) but still not nearly as accommodating as Showgirls appears to be.
Some more seasoned veteran dancers (a couple 30-something Mons vets) and Terri Dean (formerly of Deja Vu and a big name at 7 Seas back when it was known for dancer quality and friendliness and not just friendliness) have been showing up night side at YS. But all things considered, Showgirls sounds more intriguing.
