I stayed with this woman at the Motel 7 on 441 and 135st. Everything I've read to date indicates that condo construction in Miami has come to a halt. Only those projects that are almost done are being worked on. My bet is the city revenue stream is really hurting.

With govt belt-tightening and budget squeezing, I wonder if the cops are locking up everyone they can to justify their current/future budgets. Of course, judges, prosecutors, public defenders, the jails and the related support staff are all needed to handle the workload and they need their budgets too.

In a small town in Alabama, I was once placed in handcuffs and taken down to the station because I had long hair and a substantial moustache. I was never charged with anything and let go after three hours. Sounds like that might be happening in Mr. Glenn's neck of the woods.
