A computer is no more vulnerable on TOR than any other network. The length of time you are on the network doesn't increase the risk (unless you already have a trojan on your system). There are hidden websites accessible via TOR. Those are user created and hosted. They may or may not host anything malicious. The same security principles apply as any other network, it is all about what you are doing while you are connected. Be careful what you are sending out and what you are accessing and everything will be fine. Basically don't trust anything you don't know. Now if you want to play it extra safe and boot from a separate USB OS, or use a virtual environment, there is never any harm in extra security measures. I have a sandbox system for dissecting malware and often use one of the virtual environments for testing suspicious sites.
Keep in mind that TOR is slow. There are a limited number of nodes on the network, so you should only do your mongering stuff with it. Many users have to share that bandwidth.

Okay, first time poster; long time lurker. Today I decided to visit Bada Spa. As I was leaving I noticed a woman in a gold SUV across in a lower parking lot talking on her phone. As I got closer to my car she pulled a camera out of her car and aimed it at me! I kept walking past my car to another part of the complex. About five minutes later I returned to my car not seeing the woman or her car. As I started to leave she pulled out of another parking space closer to the spa, partially blocked the parking lot, partially blocked the driving lanes, and whipped up a camera again. I drove around the back if her car, and left. She pulled out after me and then pulled away as I pulled onto the main road. What's up with this? Anyone have any experiences like this before? It's made me paranoid to visit someplace again. By the way, I'll post my review to the Massage Forum later. Still worried now.
That is bizarre. It's not illegal to go to a massage parlor. My only thought is if you're married or something and they had someone follow you. Probably a stretch but who knows.

A nearby busy parking lot (verify no posted towing signs) is ideal. Walk to / from the AMP, vary your route each way if possible and within reason. If on your way there you don't like what you see, abort and re-plan your mission. Don a hat and sunglasses if it's a sunny day, some concealment is good, too much draws unwanted attention. Stay alert, don't loiter, but stopping for a drink or other small purchase may prove beneficial. Never confront anyone or say anything if these options exist. Depart the area in as boring a manner as possible. You don't want to draw interest from others or be memorable to anyone surveilling the area.

It was a strange experience especially when she tried to "block" my car and started the picture taking again. Yes, recommend that anyone visiting Bada park in a distant lot. Not many businesses near the spa, so it's pretty obvious where you're visiting if you park right in front.
