After reading the story about the busts on North 27th Avenue I was surprised how many street walkers were taken into custody. The Maricopa Country Attorney who just happens to be a woman said she had to arrest providers in order to get them social services. This is the new method of handling working girls and I think it will hurt them in the long run. A woman with a prostitution arrest on her record has no chance of getting a job.

I always enjoy dissecting press releases from the our boys in blue. A man was living with a woman and her daughter in a motel room. The girl is 14 years old. The man and woman get in a fight. The daughter leaves the room and contacts the police. The boys in blue arrive and the young lady said the man hit her and has been pimping out her Mother. The girl also stated she was in the room when her Mother was doing tricks. The man is arrested and charged with child sex trafficking. The young lady could be telling the truth or could be angry at her Mother's boyfriend and want him to disappear. A jury will get to decide if the man is guilty of the charges.
