Every time you pick up a SW -- whether she's new to you or you have dated her fifty times -- there is a degree of uncertainty. Times, circumstances, and people change, and Denny Park hos are not known for being particularly stable, even if they are around for years and years...
We must all assume a certain degree of personal responsibility when we engage in the hobby. There are levels of risk that we must implicitly accept when we pick up girls, which can and should all be minimized when we cruise.
No one wants to catch a "social disease", so educate yourself, play safe as appropriate, be choosy about your pickups, and check the girl out as carefully as time and circumstances allow. You can always negotiate your way out of a date if you notice anything about a SW once she's in your ride that concerns you.
No one wants to chat with Uncle Leo, so be conscientious and vigilant when you cruise, learn where the marked and unmarked cars park and watch the blade, obey driving laws and regulatory signs, make sure all your lights work, drive easy, and above all be discreet about your pickup locations and your dating spots! Guys who swerve across two lanes of 99 and get honked at to pick up some hot piece of @$$ on the sidewalk and then drive 200 feet to get blown in the Krispy Kreme parking lot are idiots who do all of us a disservice. (I have seen this happen!)
No one wants some crazy ho to go off in his ride and do something that leads to more trouble than simply failing to finish the deed. Every time a SW gets into your car, each of you could benefit the other (which is how we hope it always happens) or each of you could bring significant ruin upon the other. I have heard first-hand stories of hos with a fatalistic attitude and/or a criminal record who have been known to mace their dates, grab the wheel and cause a crash, or roll down the window and falsely start screaming "Rape!" at the top of their lungs when a date hasn't gone their way. Barring violence in either direction, most SWs have a lot less to lose than you do when they get in your ride. So keep your valuables and personal ID locked up and out of sight, watch her hands as she rummages through her purse, and have an "action plan" for what you will do in an emergency. (I even found some stuff online for your eyes that the paramedics use to treat perpetrators after the cops pepper spray them, and I keep some in my glove compartment, just in case...)
If a SW goes south for you on a date, be it by refusal of service, drug incoherence, mental instability, blackmail tactics (this has happened to me), or even just a really shitty attitude (this has happened to all of us!), the key is to remain calm. Accept and minimze your losses. Both Deep and Avenue managed to do this with Carmen, each in his own way. I think Deep's self-assessment was right on. It was probably a wrong move on his part to argue with an ornery, drugged-up ***** and try to convince her to adopt a better work ethic. I think Avenue actually played things perfectly when Carmen wigged out on him. The strongest recourse we have when a date goes bad is simply to state our case, kick the b!tch to the curb ASAP, drive home (preferably after getting a good BBBJ from someone else), post about it here, and then never ever pick that girl up again. Period. That's it, and that should be enough. Sure, you lost your donation, but you cut your losses. You and your ride are intact, you're wiser, and you've done your part to make sure that ho doesn't get any more work. This is how the game is played. Sometimes you fold. It's not like the post-haggle blow you might theoretically have gotten would have been any good anyway.
As far as Carmen goes, in both cases, refusal of service for these two pooners should probably be enough to put her on most guys' "no fly" list. The evidence of her decline has been there for a while now, even if she has maintained her "technical skills". Her stark raving fit with Deep should ice it for you die-hard optimists out there...
As far as Resa goes, while not your typical Denny Park crack ho, even when she's not high, dirty, and/or pregnant, she gives lousy h3@d anyway, so why bother? She's been on my "no fly" list for over a year now, after a couple of disappointing dates and plenty observation from afar of some of her more recent erratic behavior... I can confirm that this is the same Risa. I ran into her on foot last week on Yesler/3rd area when she was coming out of one of the shelters near there. She was mumbling to herself and spoke nonsense when I stopped to talk to her.
I've never really liked Risa's service, she'd get a good rhythm going and then stop to mumble to herself which of course totally broke my momentum. Plus, I had a pretty harrowing night with her last spring (I wrote a report, probably around March or so). I've just never wanted to pick her up after that.

Rick Buck is right about the Oaktree area. North of there I haven't found much of interest the past month. Worse yet from my perspective, the daytime activity in South Park has completely vanished. As slim as it was this summer, it could pass for a church picnic now.
Personally I've had a great run of part-timers, but it usually isn't worth writing a report if the last sentence is, "She left for California this morning."
And I stay out of DP except for what Jimi calls "EHE", extreme horniness emergencies.
The selection at the AAA has been good, the attitude of most of the girls has not. There has been jump outs lately also. I have been spending my time with German Mercydez from the CL. What a body. Not that much more money when considering time and gas.

I'm going to have to follow suit, I went through last night at about 7:30 and saw two girls working. I pulled over for one and she told me her name was Pocahontas and i've seen reports about her on this board. She was nice but I changed my mind and dropped her back off, she wasn't up to my physical liking once I got up close. I know I shouldn't, but sometimes I feel bad for dropping a lady off so I told her that I was pulled over a few days ago and a bit paranoid. She nicely said, "okay" and I thanked her as I pulled over to let her out. I'm not above lying if it keeps everybody cool-headed.
I drove through AAA just to see if anything might be there and spotted one lone older SW working one of the corners. She kept looking at me and them casually walked over to my window and asked if I was waiting for her. Too rough for me, but I did ask her name and she told me it was Kitty.
I wasn't really all that serious about a pick up so I went home.

This is exactly the king of intelligence i'm looking for - I haven't been out cruising AAA for a few weeks now so i'm a bit out of the loop on the happenings. I was thinking about hitting the Hostess/AAA track tonight but maybe just maybe i'll reconsider.

I, too, have been starting to troll for CL girls which is something I just don't do very often. I actually consider CL to be riskier than the street and so I have not searched there much at all. However I did have one spectacular experience a few weeks ago with a girl who was new to Seattle but had good reviews in other cities.
I've decided that i'm done with the other hooker boards in the PacNW and will only post my CL and other experiences here on this board. Too many wanne-be pimps and power-players mixed-in with the general "accepted" population over on the other boards for my liking. The funny thing is that most of these people think that the street scene is much worse in terms of infection, crime and pimps, so far i've experienced the opposite. I think there are more dangerous people over on the other boards as well. You're more likely to have your personal info posted on one of the boards or on CL over in that scene than you are over here in this one. Except for the very rare and short-lived flare-up, this board is about as non-drama as you can get.
After a few weeks of not cruising the standard weekend Seattle strolls, I decided to head out tonight to check out the action. Arriving at around 11:30 on Hostess, I spotted a small group of girls walking in miniskirts up Dexter. They all stopped in the middle of the crosswalk crossing John while mongers lined up and stopped traffic trying to snag one. None of the girls seemed to know whether or not they were working or wanted to work and continued to hold up traffic. As I had a nice curb-side view of it all, I could see that all of the girls could easily pass for 15 and so I was glad that I wasn't among the group trying to pick one of them up.
I circled AAA and saw absolutely nothing. I spotted a police officer standing right out on the stroll and concluded that this was the reason why there were no girls out. I did not return for the rest of the night.
Heading back to Hostess, I happened to spot the two hot girls who will not get into my car - the blonde girl known as Kara and her very hot brunette buddy (who is that girl, anyone know?). They were both walking up Denny and I happened to run into them both over on Dexter. Man did the brunette ever give me the stare of death. I was caught at a stop sign on Thomas/Dexter and neither of these girls would cross in front of me. The brunette kept giving me a seriously evil look and stared directly at me without flinching. I was actually starting to grow uncomfortable, so I finally got pissed off and threw up my hands and shoulders as if to say "what the FUCK are you looking at???". Again, I have no idea who these girls think I am but i'm not going to allow them to give me repeated bad looks when I haven't done anything to either one of them. They've very obviously got the wrong guy and it's starting to piss me off. I don't like the fact that they might be telling other girls or even the police that i'm some whacko who's done one of them wrong.
Not surprisingly, lots and lots of guys were pulling over for these two cunts and neither of them would budge from the curb. One guy in a nice white truck pulled up to the brunette and she merely shook her head "no" and sent him on his way. Immediately after, another truck pulled up to have a go and she sent him packing as well. This went on for a long time, then they both disappeared and I never saw either of them again. Good riddance, if they are going to be that paranoid and go so far as to give me dirty stares then it would be great if they didn't come back to the stroll.
Moving onward, the girls really started to thin out. I finally parked on Thomas for a long time to watch the action but there was none. Finally, I decided to make one more pass through and then head home. Turning north onto Dexter, I noticed the shapely outline of a female further up near Republican right out in front of the Hostess factory. Upon reaching the corner, I noticed that it was well-known escort Brittany (BrittanysThaOne) who is popular and quite well-known on other local escort boards. I actually know Brittany from previous engagements and so she threw me a big smile and a wave while I pulled over for her to jump in. For some reason I don't find Brit appealing (which she knows) so she jumped in to say "hello", give me a nice kiss and have a quick catch-up chat. Upon jumping out, she started talking to a BSW in the car in front of me, when this girl got out I was WOWED - very tall, slim, nice-looking girl who strutted her stuff over to Dexter. I flashed Brit a look and pointed at this girl and mouthed the words "WHO'S THAT???!!". Brit told the girl to head over to me and my night was finally made.

The funny thing is, as crass as it may sound, you'd think hard economic times would actually benefit the street pooners, but the pickings still have been poor on most of the strolls anyway. I have been passing over most "regular" working girls in favor of "part-timers" for a while now, for reasons of quality, safety, and health. (In fact, I just ran into a girl in Belltown the other day who'd done a part-time date with me a while back. She was killing time before heading to her legitimate job. She smiled and said she had fun with me but she didn't "do that anymore".) The story is always the same: the rent is either coming due or already late and/or she just lost her day job.
Part-timers are usually great dates because they often have their own apartments and are frequently willing to give A LOT of service with extras if you help 'em make their quota. They may not want to do anything above what it takes to make what they need, but they'll offer you a good deal to get there. Pictures and video are usually on the menu if you don't creep 'em out, and the part-timers tend to have good attitudes, good health, few addictions, and no criminal history. In short, more grip AND more lip.
I expect as times stay hard for a while, there will be fewer guys with "disposable income" cruising and more nice part-time girls just looking to make ends meet. I guess ol' Jimi and his soft heart will be looking out for them to help 'em fill in their gaps... ;)

I hear ya Jimi, i'm going to have to take a look at doing the same thing. In these hard economic times the regular working girls still expect you to shell out $$$ but yet might not get into your vehicle because they don't like the way you parted your hair.
If I wanted that kind of cock-tease attitude i'd start hanging around in clubs again.
