So I tend to not really look very closely at other expectations beyond negotiable due to budget constraints. My question is am I leaving possibilities on the table. In general, how the SB rates herself in terms expectations, in your experiences is that really what their expectations are? I don't want to waste anyone's time nor my own.

This question has come up several times in the past. The consensus seems to be not to write them off just because of the expectations they pick, but don't completely disregard it.

So many of the girls don't understand the dollars or haven't put much thought into it. Others think of it as a negotiation where they aim high, but will accept much less.

For girls with moderate to high expectations, I indicate in my first message that their expectations are above my budget, but I would still be interested in chatting. Some don't respond, but most do. Most don't mention dollars again or say they just put high or substantial to scare away the low ballers, but are very negotiable.

I know the ones that focus too much on nailing down the dollars at the start aren't a good match for me for a number of reasons. They usually either have GPS, are escorts or are UTR's. I look for less hardened girls with a genuine interest in a connection.

I've found several girls in the "Moderate to High" lifestyle expectations that were ultimately very reasonable.

I say this because I don't spend much time reading their profile, initially. I'm often sending out initial contact to girls across many cities, so I have to minimize the initial investment of time. If the contact materializes into something, then of course I read in detail, but from that point on it's hard to make a connection between their listed expectation and how they react to my gifts.

I guess I could say, all things being equal, that girls with ridiculous expectations are perhaps somewhat more likely to turn out to be a PITA or GPS? If they are that bad, the texts usually don't advance very far with me, I've managed to avoid the real crazies so far. But this observation shouldn't be confused with saying that high expectations necessarily equals GPS -- I've met a lot of girls that listed their expectations as through the roof (presumably based on their self-assessment of their looks), but in person they turned out to not be that way at all. Perhaps for some of them, listing ridiculous expectations helps them save face (some of their friends know they are listed there, or might see them at some point, so it doesn't help their reputation or ego, to list themselves as a bargain).

My opinion is that its best to just ignore expectation listings, but YMMV.

If they feel like they have "figured you out", they become much more comfortable spreading their legs for daddy.

There are many guys who will promise girls large sums of money to get them to come out and meet, but few of those guys have the intention of ever actually paying those exorbitant promised amounts. I have heard a lot of stories from the ladies with whom I have met from the site. One girl was telling me how a guy promised her a thousand dollars, but then gave her nothing and essentially raped her. Another girl said a guy promised her $500, then wanted to do a car date for $40. Girls are constantly getting messaged by "fake" rich guys and guys making all sorts of promises. SDX.[/QUOTE]That's a real problem for the decent guys. The stand up guys that do what they say, the ones that makes sure to treat the ladies right, that try to be a positive for these girls. Those guys get overlooked because of fake promises and expectations. Once a girl has been burned once or twice she doesn't go looking for a nice guy, she just leaves the site and tells her friends it's filled with a-holes. I've come across stories like that in my area too (north east). It's an arms race. It is true, I know a service (anonymous, online) where you can get the identity of the owner of a vehicle from the plate # for $40 - I have done this twice on SBs. Others have discussed that after a while the SB, if she really likes you, is very likely to get curious about your real identity.
