You never met me in person and you asked me over the phone with that being said how did you "see my body language?" Today there are strains of clap and syph which are resistant to antibiotics. HIV / AIDS was virtually non-existent in the Western heterosexual world.
Note I didn't say there were no STDs, only that sex was safe. I got the clap in '74 and went to the doctor who gave me a single shot of penicillin and that cured it.
Genital warts are still mostly a nuisance, but there are a host of STDs which are far more virulent than their predecessors.
Today you could get the clap and find out that there's nothing in the medical arsenal to cure it, so you've got it for life.
I know there's some think I'm full of BS but I think it's interesting they don't refute my posts with facts, only initiate ad hominem attacks, which is the sign of a feeble intellectual foe.

What he said (I think) was that you were probably thinking of all the ways that you could contract an STD without protection. Maybe an example would be like,"Hey Arianna, do you allow DATY?"
