You are to be commended on your generosity but get a zero on your intelligence. Every girl out there hits us with sob stories to send them $ for a number of reasons. I'm ashamed to say I've done it myself, but only once.

If you have a relationship with the chick or see her regularly, that can be fine. But give these girls a chance to suck $ out of you, and believe me they are pros at this game and you're a fukking pawn. This is all the more reason they will ghost you or not meet up since they owe you. You're liable to call them out and they aren't having any of it.

Give your $ away if you like, but consider yourself forewarned.
