I have tried just handing over the 160 tip and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I always keep a 20 in my pocket for situations where I get called out by the provider. It has worked 100% of the time so far. I get called out about 25% of the time.

Obviously no one wants to pay more than necessary. I hate it as much as anyone, but there comes a time when you have to use your head (in this case head = brain!) and decide the best choice in the given situation. I prefer an hour and like many here I hand over the entire customary rate at the beginning of the session. It's either accepted without comment, or occasionally further negotiations ensue. Went to Serenity the other night looking for L1. The location is so awkward with that bar with the outside tables. This disparity in behavior is typical of the cultural differences between Korean and Chinese AMPs, and is also why Chinese places get their MONEY first. At a Chinese AMP, it's all about the money with virtually no pretense of anything else. At Korean AMPs, it's still all about the money, but at least they PRETEND to disguise that by being more (fake) passionate and trying to keep money as a secondary matter by either not discussing it so directly or even, at some Korean places, not expecting to be tipped until AFTER the session is over (that would NEVER happen at a Chinese AMP).

I'm sure a lot of you guys are quite familiar with this difference, but, frankly, I would never expect anything more from VM (or Sunlight, et.al.) than to be fuck-factories putting out as much product as fast as possible (resulting in getting shorted on time and not actually taking real "appointments") for as much money as they can get out of your wallet (explaining the occasional elevated tip expectations/demands, more common at Eastern in Sarasota). I suspect the strong April line-up may have put a strain on the ability to service the demand. That being said, you guys are in the trenches and would know better than me.

This disparity in behavior is typical of the cultural differences between Korean and Chinese AMPs, and is also why Chinese places get their MONEY first. At a Chinese AMP, it's all about the money with virtually no pretense of anything else. At Korean AMPs, it's still all about the money, but at least they PRETEND to disguise that by being more (fake) passionate and trying to keep money as a secondary matter by either not discussing it so directly or even, at some Korean places, not expecting to be tipped until AFTER the session is over (that would NEVER happen at a Chinese AMP).

I'm sure a lot of you guys are quite familiar with this difference, but, frankly, I would never expect anything more from VM (or Sunlight, et.al.) than to be fuck-factories putting out as much product as fast as possible (resulting in getting shorted on time and not actually taking real "appointments") for as much money as they can get out of your wallet (explaining the occasional elevated tip expectations/demands, more common at Eastern in Sarasota). I've been 2 maybe 3 times and all visits were during midweek lunch time-ish. I think during one visit there were patrons sitting in the outdoor patio. This was maybe 6 months ago and IF I cared at all it didn't stop me from going in.

While I've never been there myself, the "[u]Street View[/u]" from Google Maps does make it look like entering the AMP from the north side (i.e. street side... inches from cars zipping by on Tampa Rd) is more discreet than from the south side (i.e. parking lot side... with lots of other foot traffic). You'd still park in that parking lot and then just walk around the west end of the building and into the AMP door.
