I'm directed to the rude girl at the front desk again and the following is our convo:

Her: "We only do ones in intervals of $100".

Me: "You just acted like my $100 dollar bill was really hard to break. Now I can't get ANY singles unless I give you one hundred?

She then informs me that they have a two-drink PER HOUR minimum. I have been to tons of clubs with a two-drink minimum. But two every hour? So if I'm there for four hours I have to buy eight drinks? This after I paid to valet, paid for a cover charge, tip the bathroom dude, was asked to buy a rose for the stripper by some midget dude and they increased their price to go in the back to $25? As I'm asking the waitress questions about the policy a bouncer comes up and starts giving me a hard time about asking her these basic things. (I was being totally polite, I know it's not her fault but I was hoping she might communicate to someone higher up how it makes customers feel to be treated like this). He told me I had to buy another drink right now because it wasn't a "free show". All this despite the fact that in 45 minutes I had probably gone up and tipped $100 in ones to dancers already. I told him I would just leave. If anyone from Flight Club reads this, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Making me get $100 in ones is insane. Once it's all in ones I can no longer use the money for dances, as I'm not going to try to pay for $50 of dances in one-dollar bills. Also I don't want the strippers knowing how much I have but how do I hide a stack like that?

2. You are just asking to get sued with your two drink policy. If someone hits another person while drunk driving any good lawyer could come back and say "This is your fault because you required my client to keep drinking the entire time. How does someone sober up before they leave if you force them to have two drinks every hour?

3. I could forgive all of these rules IF they were posted outside. But instead, you let me pay to park and get in before any of this is mentioned. You already have a sign outside with the dress code, but you leave out all this other stuff. On purpose.

As a shot girl she has to buy all her shots in advance. If she does not sell them during the night, she can be out more money than she brings in. However if she sells multiple trays during the night the second and third tray are all profit to her. The way the club works there are busy nights and slow nights. On a slow night if she is not making enough money they offer her to go on stage and dance, and then they have a new dancer for the next few weeks. It is an efficient system, and not all shot girls will become dancers, but I encourage you to be friendly with them, because once they start dancing you can be one of their first customers.

I typically only go once a year or so, because the prices I am quoted there are ridiculously high. Perhaps money is not an issue for you like it is for me.

In the end, these aren't employees. They are contractors and like contractors in any profession have no obligation to one location over another and will always chase the money. If they want loyalty from them, they need to make them actual employees like at Deja Vu.

For dancers don't provide good VIP sessions, they have used up all the customers in the current club, failed to convert enough to regulars, and are not making any money, so they move to green pastures and quickly burn through the clientele at the new club.

For dancers who do provide good VIP sessions, and have built up a regular customer base. They typically change clubs because they got into a fight with another dancer, or as a successful VIP provider the less successful girls have started stealing from her or generally harrassing her. The club management rarely deals with this kind of internal politics, and it is easier for the dancer to take a small economic hit for short time and change clubs. Once at the new club since she offers value she is able to quickly build up a loyal following there also, and in my case I will follow a good dancer from club to club.

WOW, well said, almost my exact same experience at Flight Club. Yes, some beautiful girls, but how they quote $$ for a few songs and private time with a straight face is almost beyond me laughing out loud. Short story is that some clubs (LS being one, also FC) requires valet and your key fob regardless of whether you parked it yourself or not. Some will say, this is to keep the clubs leverage over you (keeping your keys while a payment dispute is settled, cops are called, etc.). Others will say this is simply a cash grab. Who knows, but there are plenty of other clubs NOT requiring valet, so the choice remains yours and ours whether to frequent those clubs with mandatory valet or not. Side note, I've been to some high end steak houses across the country that do the same thing, to prevent a dine and dash situation, so my personal opinion is that this is the case here as well. Leverage.
