This topic is covered many places in these threads. You're a newbie here, you really ought to spend some time reading the path your elders have laid down for all. You are trying to not only keep your being in a hotel from your SO, you are trying to keep your real identity from the SB. Hotels have been known to screw up and answer a question from a departing SB ('your wife'). They also often slide an invoice under the door in the morning. If you've been lucky enough to get the girl to spend the night with you, and she wakes up first, well, there's your name served up on a platter. I have made a practice of investigating the profiles of POTs I'm advancing with, including trying to find their photos elsewhere online (in case they are spoofing them). I have always just used my browser's function to save the image as a file. However, what downloads now is a little, 6 KB jpg, and I can't get it to open with my viewer. Tineye will also not use the downloaded file as input for a search. Is anyone else experienced with image searching having the same issues?

I am sing Chrome on a Mac and surf using a conventional mouse. I simply hover mr cursor over the image then right click. It pops up a menu. One of the options is Search Google for Image. Click the option and off you go. It is very fast. Tineye might be a little more thorough but this works well-enough for me. The key is that you have to use a mouse. I have not figured out how to do it using the touchpad.

Ask a few of your other friends; some of them must know how to do this. I also keep records of women I like. I capture screen shots of their profiles and photos and copy the link. I have them in a location (not my computer) where I can search by profile name. It helps when they disappear for months or years and then resurface. Lot's of them start off with a naive profile name and then change it. When that happens, I rely on info saved to Notes. I like having a saved record for those occasions when they block me or delete, change or re-hide private photos.

If your plan is to have an M&G and then decide on a visit to the FC at a second meeting, all you have to be out is the price of drinks if she exaggerated her appeal, which is no big deal. If the plan is to follow the M&G immediately with a trip to the FC, then it's a little more awkward if you decide she's somewhat disappointing but "do-able. " You've promised her the Krugerrand already, so the price is already set high (which will be hard to lower in the future). If you're able easily simply to say, "Thanks for meeting with me. I'm sorry, though, you just don't do it for me," I guess it's not a problem. I have a hard time being so honest in person, so I might be inclined to go to the FC this one time, rather than telling her to her face that I don't find her that attractive (or worth the money).

Most of my M&Gs have been explicitly on the assumption that we will meet for coffee or lunch, and if we decide to go forward, we'll do it on a different day. That way, neither party has to reject the other in person. I like it that way, for the reason suggested above.

As for her expecting something nice at the M&G, she's getting your company and drinks at a very upscale place. That seems all that she's entitled to expect. I usually bring a bottle of Champagne and a box of chocolates to the M&G and give them to her even if I know that we're not a match. I usually don't bring it in to the M&G, but tell her as we're leaving that I have something in my car for her. I have a reasonably nice car -- one that will favorably impress most of the girls I meet -- and I figure that helps establish that I'm a "solid" guy. (I know that some people don't like the POT or even their SB to know their car, out of concern that they might trace it through the license number, but I figure that the benefits outweigh the risk.) I often leave a keycard on my car seat, so that my SB can use a side entrance to the hotel rather than having to walk by the desk. Some like that; some don't care.

I really would not give an expensive gift (or money) at an M&G, even if the POT has conveyed a very high opinion of her self-worth. (Frankly, I pass over profiles of women who seem as taken with themselves as yours does, but that's just me.).

This is a totally different POT. 21 YO, hippy-dippy, jeweled nose ring. We spoke by phone, seemed reasonable. I arrive 10 min early for the M&G and pull in to park. Dead ahead I see a van, like Shaggy's, complete w / fringe over the windshield. In it, a girl w / nose ring, next to her, Shaggy himself. Scooby DOO! Could have been harmless, self-protection for her, but I didn't need to hang around to find out.
