She seemed very intelligent and I like intelligent women. She also said she never had any biological children and had one adopted child. We spent a couple of hours eating, drinking, and talking. After dinner, I paid $40 for her babysitter and we went our separate ways with a promise to meet the following week. I thought I had hit paydirt once again and was looking forward to meeting her next week.

Saturday morning she texted me if we could meet later in the evening and she would need $150 in return and I pay for the room. Hell yeah! We set-up a meet at the same TGI Fridays. This time, a guy dropped her off. She said she wanted to spend the night with me so there was no need for her to have a car. She was all dolled up and looked gorgeous. All she had was a small clutch purse and she told me that she left her phone in her car because she hates getting calls when she is with someone. I thought that it will be the best night I have had in a while--all for $150 and the cost of the room. So we had dinner and drinks at Joes Crab Shack and started to drive around and look for a room. She said she wanted to stay in an upscale hotel and she was willing to pay some money from her fee. Oh my god-an angel!! Who would say no. So I gave her $200 and I said I will make up for any money she spent the next time I see her. She said she had to use the restroom so we stopped at 7-11 and she went inside. She came back out and suggested we go to the IHOP as they have discount hotel coupons and we might find a good deal on a hotel room. We go to IHOP but they didn't have any coupons. A waitress at IHOP suggested that there were some boxes by the road that had some coupon books. We walk up to the road, get the coupon books and get in the car. As we start pulling out of IHOP, I see a car that looks similar to her car but I think nothing of it. The car passes us and stops by the curb. All of a sudden. Melissa asks me to stop because her feet are cramping and she needs to stretch. I stop, she goes out and starts running. She gets in that car and the driver speeds off. For a minute, I am dumbfounded but then I realize what just happened. I also realize what could have happened had I not given her the money beforehand. I likely would have been robbed, or worse.

I wanted to share my experience and the associated pitfalls of dating on CL. I am also adding her picture so that my fellow daters can avoid her.
