Honolulu Fire Department Capt. Earle Kealoha said the 8:45 p.m. fire was started by a plastic bag thrown over a wall at the unit which exploded to flames. Damage to the unit was contained to a patio-type area, Kealoha said.

Police have made no arrests.

This is also a concern of mine anywhere. Specifically regarding overall secured privacy and the area not being a discreet location. Anyone else have any problems or felt uncomfortable? Are we being observed and could our mongering participation be compromised by LE, especially in a residential area?

It is all about safe mongering here. We must anonymously protect each other by the unspoken "mongerer code." Otherwise it's just not fun. The address provided in the news report is the address of the building that contains Imperial, although it is a multi-unit building. Nirvana is at 1334 Young Street (#214). Imperial is at 1344 Young Street (#2A).

If it gets too slow or inconsistent overall, we may lose some of the better providers to some other "career" that brings them more or consistent money. Although career changes are highly unlikely if they aren't diversified (educationally), it would suck if we lose any good ones, period.
