Here is the way I think. Almost all the time I'm not willing to spend more than X. Depending on the info I have gathered a negotiation may take place. Reputation is being highly thought of by most other mongers. This may get a slight rise out of my donation. Time in the business is how long they have been working. Newer girls may get a high rise. If you have been around for a while I will get to you whenever it is convenient. Celebrity status is one you may sucker a high donation out of me. Banging a celebrity gives you immediate notoriety or infamy. I include porn stars in this. Exclusivity is when girls are not working often, Don't take many appointments, or maybe even travel often. This will get a medium sized raise above X. Recommendation is simply hype from more well known friends. Every girl would like to think she is worth $500. Most simply aren't. A half-way-decent girl can ask $200+/hr and will get it. Most girls aren't worth one hundred and fifty of my hard-earned shekels.
